Un très bon hôtel pour se reposer en arrivant à colombo

Good for a quick stopover
Pros:

The rooms were spacious with air conditioning. The bathroom was modern with walk in rain shower. Breakfast was good.
The manager arranged our transport to the airport for us on the 2nd morning and as we had a 4am start provided us with a takeaway breakfast too.
The only downside was the pool area which was very tired looking. The shower to use prior to using the pool was even more tired looking. We chose not to use this facility.

Sehr sauberes Zimmer mit einer guten Ausstattung und netter Gastgeber.

Cons:

Das Hotel liegt in einer kleinen Seitenstraße. Dadurch ist es zwar sehr ruhig, aber fußläufig ist nicht wirklich viel zu erreichen. Da die Tuktuks aber relativ günstig sind, war das für uns kein großes Problem.

A nice, quiet hotel.
Pros:

We enjoyed our stay at Lavonca. The staff were all welcoming and helpful. Our room was spotlessly clean and comfortable with plenty of hot water. We enjoyed our breakfast, it was very tasty. The roof top pool was lovely to use after a very hot journey! The location is a little out of the way but tuk tuks and local bus routes are close by.

Cons:

WiFi was very intermittent.

A good stay with walking distance to attractions and comfortable accommodation.

Pros:

Отель внутри тихого района особняков, окруженного башнями делового центра. Бассейн на крыше - очень привлекательно, жаль, что не удалось воспользоваться: рано уходили, поздно возвращались. Прогулка от набережной до отеля была приятной: можно пройти по тихим улицам и вдоль озера.

Cons:

Питьевая вода бесплатно - две маленьких бутылочки в день.

Pros:

Das Hotel liegt in einer relativ ruhigen Seitenstraße. Das Zimmer war gut ausgestattet und das Badezimmer war relativ neu. Das frühstück war gut, alle Mitarbeiter waren äußerst freundlich.

Cons:

Das Treppenhaus und die Wände sind leider extrem hellhörig und wir hatten dadurch eine sehr unruhige Nacht. Der Poolbereich kann auf jeden Fall etwas Pflege vertragen. Es waren überall am Rand dunkle Ränder und das Wasser war trüb weshalb wir uns auch gegen eine kleine Abkühlung entschieden haben.

Rundum zufrieden
Pros:

Das Zimmer war sehr schön mit der Terrasse. Der Wasserkocher mit Kaffee und Tee funktionierte und war angenehm zu haben. Den Pool im 4. Stock kann man am Abreisetag auch nach Auschecken benutzen und reicht von der Größe. Es gibt eine Dusche oben und genügend Sitzgelegenheiten. Das Personal ist aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war lecker und ausreichend. Es wird nachgelegt, wenn benötigt.
