Struttura con buoni servizi per godere bellezza di Naoshima
Pros:

Design e vista rendono l’esperienza esteticamente appagante. La colazione è buona, seppure non ricca e (considerati gli ospiti, in maggioranza europei e americani) un po carente di alimenti per chi fa breakfast occidentale

Cons:

La fruizione del parcheggio a pagamento é stata difficile: per due volte non era disponibile il posto, seppure prenotato e pagato. La struttura non mi sembra adatta a chi ha difficoltà di movimento, visto che ci sono scale dappertutto.

Wonderful Naoshima accommodation!
Pros:

Really loved staying here in Naoshima. Spacious and Japanese / Scandi style room, great staff and a good dinner restaurant too.

Cons:

Breakfast buffet would work better than the current choice between either Japanese or western breakfast. The western breakfast included undercooked sausage and underdone toast, and arrived already plated and cold. This was my only negative point. Everything else was great.

Honestly one of the worst travel experiences I have ever had.

Cons:

Atrocious location! It basically can only be accessed by foot up a steep hill. Not so great when pulling luggage or in the rain, both of which we experienced. No taxi service. Bikes are available, but not always viable. No restaurants nearby, small dining room at the hotel, which was decent, but you must book it the day before! No exceptions! Overly rigid rules.

The hotel really should consider running a shuttle service to the ferry. Even if they charge for it, it would be valuable. Embarking on a full day of travel, we left at 6 in the morning to catch an early ferry and we had to walk half a mile in the rain. Having to wear soggy clothes on trains for several hours does not leave a particularly positive impression

A pleasant stay, with good access to the ferry.
Pros:

Breakfast was not included, but the optional meal we had was very good.
Dinner was excellent.

Cons:

The location is quite hilly. Staff did offer to help with our bags.

Bien, mais maisonnette individuelle pas adaptée aux températures d’avril la nuit.
Pros:

La vue féerique depuis la terrasse de notre chambre « peak cottage » et le mini sauna dans la salle de bain.
Le repas du soir dans la demi-pension fut aussi une agréable surprise.

Cons:

La chambre était froide et très humide et une forte odeur de renfermé dans la salle de bain.

I had a terrific stay here with a gorgeous aspect of a calm sea.
Pros:

Fantastic location near the port and en route to museums. It was spotless and very comfortable. The staff could not have been more helpful. I had data problems with my phone and they drove me to someone who could help. They have bikes for hire and arrange bag storage near the ferry or directing bags on. All bases covered! Also do go up to the sunset terrace - sensational!!
