Pros:

Die Gastgeber sind sehr herzlich. Der Hausherr kocht jeden Abend für seine Gäste - unbedingt vorher Bescheid geben, falls Sie dort essen wollen. Die Frau kümmert sich liebevoll um das Haus und die Gäste. Sauber, schöne Zimmer, tolles, vielseitiges Frühstück.

Pros:

Endroit exceptionnel. Lieu magnifique, espaces extérieurs comme intérieurs. Tout est fait avec beaucoup de goût et d'attention. La cuisine est délicieuse, petit déjeuner et dîner. Et surtout, le propriétaire accorde beaucoup d'importance à la discussion avec les invités. Je recommande. J'ai rarement vu un tel lieu et un tel accueil.

Home away from home
Pros:

From the minute we drove up to the property we felt at home. We parked in a lovely covered parking space next to the house. Walking to the reception we were awed by how well kept the gardens were and anxious to relax in one of many sitting areas. We were very warmly welcomed by Anna - the heart of this home - who showed us to our room, or shall I say rooms! A small apartment like accomodation. Full with lovely little touches, beautiful linens and big windows letting all the light in. Manual - the backbone of this home - cooks for you upon request and he does this with a passsion. We had only booked 2 nights here but before the evening was through we booked more time in this lovely home. Anna was full of tips on where to go and what to see. The area has much to offer and is very different from what we have so far seen in Spain. Casa do Mudo shall forever remain in our hearts. It is truly special.

A peaceful oasis where a warm welcome awaits you
Pros:

Beautiful property with high attention to detail- like being in a magazine! Hospitality from Ana was exceptional. Breakfast buffet was good quality and featured local specialities. Our room was spacious with a separate seating area overlooking the garden. Manuel will cook a 3 course dinner if you request it.

Cons:

No bars/ restaurants within walking distance. Bathroom could do with some updating.

Pros:

This was a home run! Looking online for something different and found one last availability at Casa do Mudo. Wonderful hosts Anna and Manual, beautiful rooms, great food. They could easily charge three times more and it would still be a bargain and a wonderful stay.

Cons:

Internet on site is poor.

Pros:

Quite exceptional location in the northern Spanish hills near Cervo. Converted farmhouse style, all wood and glass and just beautiful, so quiet & peaceful
