We stayed in Acer Cave Hotel for 3 nights & it was wonderful. We arrived in the afternoon & were greeted by the manager who offered us refreshments…I had wine, my husband had a beer & then she told us we’d been upgraded 😁 We went to the terrace to enjoy our drinks & enjoy the amazing views. Our room was big & bright with a jacuzzi bath in the corner & a lovely balcony to sit in 🌞🌞 The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful…they arranged our airport transfers & before we’d even arrived in Turkey a member of staff booked our Hot Air Balloon flight & was in contact via WhatsApp regularly (big shoutout to Masar for this) The hotel has a terrace restaurant were breakfast is served & there is plenty of choice. This hotel is very quiet & had lots of places to have food & drinks within walking distance. We had a very early checkout for our flight home & the hotel provided us with a packed breakfast for our journey to the airport. I would highly recommend Acer Hotel for your stay.
We stayed at Acer Cave House for two nights with our family and had a wonderful experience. Our room, which had balconies, was absolutely lovely. With the heavy snowfall, the place transformed into a winter wonderland—truly magical!
The staff were incredibly efficient and kind. On our last day, our travel plans were interrupted due to the heavy snow, but the hotel staff were very understanding. They moved us to a new room and allowed us to stay free of charge until 5 pm, which was very thoughtful and much appreciated.
The breakfast spread was lovely, offering a great variety of options to start the day. We had booked the balloon tour through the hotel, which unfortunately got canceled due to the weather, but we understand that was beyond their control.
While the hotel is 5 km from Goreme, we were more than happy with our choice. The rooms were nicely heated, and despite the outside temperature being -5°C, we didn't face any issues with the warmth inside.
Overall, a fantastic stay with excellent service, and we highly recommend Acer Cave House for anyone visiting the area!
Accommodation in Acer Cave hotel was like a dream with smiling staff, great manager, hot and delicious breakfast, hottube, private pool and many other servlces. I'm looking for next opportunity to see same dream again and again.
Pas de ménage pendant tout notre séjour
This is a good hotel for those staying for a few days in cappadocia. Yes, some of the rooms are cut into the rock, but the top 3 floors are not. Great views across the area, and often, the hot sir balloons pass pretty close to this hotel ( depending on the wind direction) great size bed. We even had a hot tub in our room.
That was a great place to stay for a weekend especially for couples and close friends. We had a chance to stay as 3 bestie and had great time. Our room number was 501 and every single detail of the room is incredibly beautiful. The room was perfectly clean, crew was nice and friendly. If I will go to Cappadocia again, I definetely choose this place one more time.
This property is amazing - do not hesitate to book - Halime and Emre and Masar are great and an asset to the hotel - highly recommend booking
The breakfast was great and the view from the hotel is amazing - the rooms were clean and the hotel itself was immaculate.
My husband and I along with our friends stayed at the Acer Cave Hotel for two nights. It is a lovely hotel in a quiet area. Our room was wonderful although I could have done without the party tub in the room. The bathroom was nice and had a tub and great walk-in shower. The only reason I couldn’t give the hotel a 5-star review is because the heat system didn’t work very well. Our room was suffocatingly hot when we walked in. Once we figured out that we could just turn the heat off and open a window we were able to manage. The bed was very comfortable but there were only two pillows.. Having extras is always nice. I will say the staff Brough them when I asked for them the 2nd day and they made all the difference. They serve a good breakfast in the mornings and we had a great lunch on the patio outside and enjoyed the gorgeous weather and spectacular views. The front desk staff were kind and polite. The hotel decor is very unique with old radios and old TV’s and antiques in the lobby - think of grandma’s in the 1950’s but it really worked with the cave environment. Almost like being in a castle. We didn’t get out and explore around the hotel so I can’t speak to its location for shopping and restaurnts. It is however, very centrally located for exploring the many attractions of Cappadocia. I would definitely recommend a stay at the Acer Cave Hotel.
We loved staying here! The location is great. Our room was spectacular. The staff was wonderful. The food is surprisingly enjoyable for a hotel. In fact, it was good enough visiting just as a restaurant. Honestly, the only thing that wasn’t perfect was that the wifi took some work to get set up—but it worked just fine after that. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely look to stay here if we come back to Cappadocia.
Highly recommended first class hotel and staff! While on holiday in Türkiye my plans had to change. A last minute booking I received an amazing room and service. The manager, Ms Cakir and her staff handled everything including booking all the local tours including the hard to get balloon tour. All the tours were amazing with excellent tour guides. The facilities and rooms are exceptionally clean! The restaurant (breakfast included) also provided outstanding service and food quality. I couldn’t have had a better time if I had planned it months in advance instead of the same day arrival from Istanbul. Thank you for amazing holiday in Cappadocia!
A warm and cosy boutique hotel. A very welcoming team and excellent customer service
Akbar Ametov was a star in helping us organise both balloon trip and Green Tour. Both trips thoroughly well organised with hotel pick up and drop offs as part of the package. Would recommend if you are visiting the beautiful and unique Cappadocia region
Our tour company scheduled us for three nights at Acer Cave Hotel. Kudos to the tour company - from the moment we arrived until the day we left, all was excellent. Every staff member - every one - could not have been more accommodating, more pleasant, more helpful. Our room was spectacular - very large, very well appointed, with a covered terrace with a great view. Breakfast was very good as well, in a beautiful, scenic setting.
The center of town with many local type stores - little places to eat, small business, etc. - is a short walk away (but part of the walk is down a step cobblestone road, and then, of course, back up - but taxis are readily available for travel anywhere if you don't feel like walking. If you're heading to Cappadocia for ballooning or cave touring (or any other reason) put Acer at the top of your list to consider. Unfortunately, we were rained out two days in a row for our balloon ride, but should we decide to give it another try, we'll spend no time deciding where to stay - Acer is the place.
Beautiful hotel; all facilities and amenities are very nice. The location is a bit far from restaurants and cafes, but the hotel can assist in arranging taxi. The heating was a bit too much, as the floor heating cant be turned off. We had to open the door.
A complete rip off after paying a 170 Euro a night.
Some important pointers for my fellow travelers.
A) Horrible breakfast buffet. Only two hot dishes. Rest all regional Turkish Cuisine breakfast.
B) A bottle of water was charged at 60 Liras. Basic thing for which you would expect not to be charged after paying 170 Euro a night.
C) No housekeeping after 5 pm. Expect no change of linen or towel.
D) Location is horrible, away from city centre
E) Attitude of staff is pathetic, they don’t care about customers at all
Es war alles gut ausser schlechte Wi gi Empfang in Zimmer.
Das Hotel ist schön und Personal war sehr freundlich
😀
The landscape of Cappadocia is like nothing we had ever seen before. Incredible rock formations and friendly people. If you are looking for an unforgettable hotel stay you have found the place. The surrounding hotels are owned by the same group and provide access across each of their properties. Very handing for morning balloon watching high up in the valley. If you really want to make your life easy then ask for Habip at reception. His early advice ensured we were booked in to fly on a balloon the very next morning after our arrival. His recommendation for the hotel farm breakfast was amazing. It’s always fantastic when you can meet someone so helpful, understanding and friendly when travelling. Thanks to Richard and the team at Arivo travel for arranging our entire 5 week trip across 5 different countries. Made everything so easy.
