Our restaurant and bar are currently closed until further notice. We apologise for any inconvenience. A range of dining options are available nearby.

Please note that this property is located right next to the A30 road and guests might experience some noise disturbance.

Pre-authorisation will be taken upon arrival to cover for any damages caused to the property. An amount equivalent to the booked room rate will be taken for 1-night stays and 50% of the total room rate for bookings for more than one night.

A surcharge of £25 applies for arrivals after check-in hours.

For any checkin post 10 pm, it is mandatory to contact the hotel pro-actively to check if late checkin is available. This is whole sole consent of the property if they will be in a position to entertain the late check-inPlease inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.

Suited my needs for the night, but . . .
Pros:

Location was as expected.
The hotel was clean and the bed was on the firm side, which I like.
The Mira shower was one of the best hotel showers I've ever experienced! 10/10!!🤩🤩

Cons:

On the day before my stay I was informed that there was a 'self-check in' and that there were no bar or restaurant facilities at The Gissons. If I'd been travelling with my family and staying overnight to catch a plane from Exeter Airport in the morning I would have been VERY annoyed!

One night stopover with elderly parents
Pros:

Rooms looked lovely, very clean. Very soft towels. Lady on reception very helpful.

Cons:

Lamp in the single room didn't work.
Mattress in single room would benefit from being turned as it sloped enough that I slid slightly.

Ok for 1 night
Pros:

Mattress was incredible great nights sleep

Cons:

No amenities due to refurb but hotel completely deserted. Very tired rooms, Mat stuck to floor with brown tape, floor missing parts

Pros:

Was ok, clean but needs repair work and attention detail.

Cons:

Rail off of the wall in bathroom.
No shelf in the bathroom as it had fallen off and left on the floor behind the sink.

No food available at the hotel at all.

A garage a few hundred yards up the road, no vegetarian or gluten free option to buy.

Friendly staff, little gem
Pros:

Excellent location, 3 miles from Marsh Barton industrial estate. Staff Friendly, greeted immediately on arrival, shown to the room, room was spotless, lots of sockets, strong WiFi. Large room, comfy bed and high quality towels. Very good value.
