The location was great for Exeter and seaside locations. And it was very reasonably priced.
Was a shame the restaurant and bar was not open l.
Location
The restaurant and bar was closed and room very hot and air con unit leaked
Brilliant hotel aircon unit in room very modern being done up at moment so no bar or restaurant but plenty of restaurants , pubs around but rooms as a base are excellent
Very affordable place to stay, good sized rooms and free parking
No restaurant available or bar, also no mini fridges in rooms which would have helped
Second time staying here, lovely people that run it. Excellent location, whilst they don’t do food onsite there is a pub 2 mins away that serves food
We had a very lovely stay at this hotel, the rooms are of a good standard and the staff are absolutely lovely. Erica was very helpful and friendly. Thank you
The stay was very comfortable and the staff were too friendly and helpful.
Location
Don’t judge a book by its cover! When you pull up, this hotel looks tired but as soon as you walk through the front door, that changes. The reception area is delightful and the rooms are excellent, the hotel staff are incredibly welcoming and helpful!
The rooms didn’t have decaffeinated coffee which my mum would have liked! Upstairs was hot but they did have air con units so something to keep in mind!
Good size room.
The restaurant was closed, with no warning.
Room was ridiculously hot! Three fans with open windows didn’t help. No option to turn the heating off.
Bed felt like we were sleeping on slate and rocks.
TV in the room didn’t work, nor did the hair dryer.
Shower would not stay at a reasonable temperature, would suddenly go extremely hot followed by freezing cold.
All laminate flooring was coming apart, and had a large hole and crack in the centre of the bedroom.
No staff were around to welcome, greet or at check out. We had to shout to be checked in.
The room was ok ish
The hotel was dirty
No staff on site
No food available
No bar available
Only got told food and drink was unavailable the day of arrival claiming I was due to works but turns out its been shut for 2years.
The grounds were filthy and deralite , the hotel was very dirty, no help available and ended up staying at next doors hotel and paying extra so we could actually stay somewhere.
It was a birthday suprise and the hotel promised a suprise on arrival but that wasnt the case the only suprise was the disgrace it was inside and out.
Quite
Location
No food
The hotel is in a good location, for touring the Devon South coast.
The price was fair for the accomodation provided.
The hotel is need of renovations, and although the room was clean and tidy, certain aspects of the decoration needs attention.
The hotel reception, bar, and restaurant is at present closed. Not very inviting.
We were met by the owner. A very pleasant lady,
If you want to just have a base to get around, it's ideal.
Great value for money. Interior and room were all really good Friendly staff
Exterior was a little shabby but interior which is more important all good
