Hotel Eleo at the University of Florida

nicely appointed rooms with excellent in-room coffee, good bar/restaurant, great central location for UF med, outstanding front desk service from Antwon, good valet service

This hotel is nothing close to a 4.5 - as soon as you walk in, it reeks. The towels are awful, the toiletries are low budget - the exterior looks nice but that’s where it ends. Note that it is valet only parking so add $25 to your room rate.

I have to say everyone at this hotel was friendly and willing to help. Being in town for a family hospital visit, it was great that the hotel was so close to the hospital and the shuttle service was awesome. Thank you. I would recommend this property to anyone coming to town.

Excellent accommodations. VERY convenient to Shands Hospital with shuttle available 24/7! Staff is very accommodating to your every need.

Location is great, rooms are big , staff friendly, had some noise level from the side guests but cleaning could be better.

Sometimes life hands you hurdles that are hard to deal with on your own.
That's when you rely on things you can trust - family, life long friends, or a number on a hospital wall.
This post come from a sister that felt pressed for a extended place to stay (after long hours of surgery to remove a cancer tumor in her husband, coupled with an extra unplanned extend time for him to recover). She, and family, tried the Marriot and Hilton for extended place to stay - but they had no reasonable rooms to offer due to other pressing evets in the area...So she put her faith in a "phone number for ELEO" posted on the hospital wall.
What happens next is beautiful - an available room, wonderful welcoming hospitality, BEAUTIFUL and clean facility, - and almost as if they understand the situation / without ever asking.
This place has what it means when we say "love wins". I suspect a foundation to do things right - even if the room they rent could bring a bit more on the natural market - I believe they understand what it means to be human, and have not lost the touch of what it means to serve.
My heart is full. I talked to Madison (at the desk) to thank her tonight for making sure my tired sister had a place to stay - she seemed as if it was in stride - and this is what they do. Love wins in Eleo - Gainsville, Florida. - From a grateful new supported.

We had to be at Shands at different times . They provide a special rate if you are at Shands and they provide transportation timely to and from the facilities.
It is very pleasant to return to this hotel after a day of medical tests.

Everything was fantastic! From the front desk to the valet staff, everyone was welcoming, professional, and made the experience truly enjoyable. Highly recommend!

This is the second time we've stayed here. We really liked it four years ago, and had another good stay this time. Adjacent to the U. of Florida campus, it's within walking distance to the major hospital and other medical facilities. It's a striking contemporary design overlooking a pond. There's a large patio for outdoor dining, etc. next to the pond. The interior of the hotel has high-tech features.

Our two-queen suite was fine---it felt a bit tight, but was otherwise comfortable. The hotel has a fine dining restaurant. We haven't had dinner there, but the breakfast was excellent---very large servings. Staff is friendly, especially Antoine at the front desk who helped us find a nearby post office. Your only choice is valet parking. But it's reasonably priced and service is quick. The only issue is that the hotel entrance can get crowded at times with cars for people checking in, but the wait is not long. Overall, another nice stay here.

Excellent: shower, bed, room space and the onion soup at the restaurant.

Ishanty at the front desk is fabulous! She is welcoming and extremely helpful with questions. The rooms are clean in a relaxed atmosphere.

My wif3e and I made our third trip to UF Health / Shan's for an endoscopy procedure. The convenience of Hotel Eleo could not be better.
