Everything was perfect. Big apartment with everything you need. Close to Bourbon Street.
Staff were great - We were move from our first room because of an ant issue. We were given a $25 dollar drink coupon at the bar. They moved us without out an issue but I felt $25 was not much of a compensation. The area around the hotel is convenient to most things but the homeless are all around and make the area smell of urine. The overall hotel is nice but be prepared for a timeshare sales pitch before you can get your room key.
Upon arriving at this location, there were many homeless people. There were some doing drugs that we could see others were topless showing their breast. Others were trying to extort money from us. We felt very unsafe every time we walked out the door.
The staff was great! The pool is just a dipping pool, and there is no dining on site which we weren’t expecting. First time staying in a club like property.
Sue at the front door always makes our trip! She remembered us and is always so friendly. And she gave us a good restaurant recommendation. All the staff were great. And the room was very clean.
Ms. Sue
Second time staying there and the staff is so friendly & helpful. Walking distance to everything. Will stay again
Staff were all friendly but we did not like getting a wake up call for timeshare presentations every morning. Also, the pool was truly very small and very cold. Advertised as a heated pool. Not true. And pretty pathetic to not have smart TVs loaded with common apps like Netflix. Did enjoy laundry on site. Sue and other people working the door and the front desk were quite lovely/friendly. Kitchen was above average.
Great
I had exceptional customer service and I really enjoyed my hotel stay.
Pros- Great location, quick check in, super friendly staff, hot water and as fantastic.
Cons- room didn’t get very cold. We had a 2 bdrm villa so maybe that’s why. Beds were not king as advertised.
Overall would stay again.
Many thanks amazing
VERY roomy, comfortable bed, abundant kitchen amenities
Our suite was amazing. Well maintained and modern. We would stay here again. The only complaint about the property is that while the interior door is sound proof (we didn't hear other guests coming and going in the halls at night) the exterior windows are not sound-proofed so we heard all of the street-level noises, traffic and passing car radios. Higher floors probably don;t have the same issue.
LOCATION STAFF
Outstanding staff. Had ac issues on Sunday night. Donny & maintenance handled it like pros
When I arrived in New Orleans I parked at a garage about a block and a half from the hotel to save some money on parking. The walk to the hotel with my luggage in ninety-plus degree weather and high humidity left me drenched in sweat. I tried to check in and was directed to another desk to get my room key. The person responsible was attending to another guest, leaving me to wait for about thirty minutes before he got to me--and then he tried to get me interested in a vacation club membership. I did not want to go to a sales pitch just to get my room key--I wanted to get to my room and cool off. All in all it was an hour from the moment I entered the door to when I finally got to my room. That is unacceptable.
The first time I tried to take a shower the fire alarm went off. I got off a fast as I could and called the front desk; they sent up an engineer who told me that steam from the shower set off the alarm. Next time I closed the bathroom door and turned on the overhead fan in the bathroom at full power--that seemed to solve that problem. But what good is a fire alarm that cannot tell steam from smoke?
The room itself was clean and neat, with a fully furnished kitchen. I could have stayed much longer had I stocked up with groceries, but the closest thing to a grocery store was the Brothers' Chicken convenience store across the street.
I may return to New Orleans in the future, I would not return to this hotel. Nice as the room was, it was not worth the hassle.
Loved it
When booking a hotel the guests should be notified if on premise amenities are not working, getting sick and tired of checking into a hotel to find the on premise pool, hot tub, etc. is not functional.
The reality is we did not get what we paid for and a discount should apply to all guests who stayed at the hotel because the on premise pool was down!
Staff were friendly. However, we checked in and told our room wasn’t ready so we stored our luggage and came back hours later to be told our room wasn’t ready at 6pm. They had to change us to another room with window facing a wall instead of street view. In this room the ceiling fan and light were connected so the only way to have the fan running was to have the light on above the bed which makes no sense when trying to sleep. This was my 2nd time staying here but I will not stay again.
