The hotel has still not processed the refund they offered, and they seem to have removed our conversation thread from the Booking.com messaging system, so I do not have a clear way to recontact them. This is extremely disappointing.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience warrants transparency.
On my first night, I discovered visible fecal matter from a previous guest on the handle of the bidet spray (bum gun) in my bathroom. Unfortunately, I only realized this after using it, resulting in direct contact. This was extremely distressing and a serious sanitation failure. I reported the issue immediately and documented it with photos.
The hotel acknowledged the issue and later agreed to a 50% refund of the first night, to be processed via Booking.com.
However, despite repeated follow-ups, Booking.com confirmed that the hotel did not respond to their request within the 48-hour window provided. Attempts to reach the hotel directly via WhatsApp and email also went unanswered.
After more than 22 hours without an update, the only response received was a request for me to contact the hotel yet again via a different email address, further delaying resolution of an already agreed refund.
While some staff were polite, the overall housekeeping standards and the lack of follow-through from management were very disappointing. I hope this feedback encourages improved hygiene procedures and more responsible handling of guest issues.
Super clean spacious room with a excellent modern bathroom, staff where friendly and polite. Breakfast had a lot of choices and the view from Breakfast area was lovely. We used the swimming pool on our last day while waiting for our flight which had comfortable sun loungers.

Super vielseitiges Frühstück und saubere, moderne, helle Zimmer mit angenehmer Zimmertemperatur (obwohl es draußen sehr heiß war, war es im Hotel immer angenehm kühl, auch ohne Klimaanlage)
Beim Pool waren stets Handtücher zur Verfügung.
Lage eignet sich sehr gut, um Stadt zu Fuß zu erkunden

Convenient location, great view from room, nice modern shower room with storage space. Plentiful electrical sockets. Breakfast was good, even if Western choices were limited.
Noise from music or karaoke club somewhere in the same street which usually went on until 12.30am. Could hear despite being on 17th floor. Sometimes a long wait for the elevator
