What a beautiful place to stay in Dubai
The hotel is very nice but far from the main areas the mall next door is very nice shopping have been to Dubai many time

Sofitel The Obelisk is an absolutely stunning hotel, both in its design and attention to detail. Everything is impeccably taken care of, leaving no room for any shortcomings. The level of service is beyond exceptional, it’s like they can read your mind. You don’t even need to think about what you might need; they are already a step ahead. The luxury here is truly unmatched.
The rooms are equally remarkable beautifully designed and very comfortable. We had an amazing time during our stay with the team and want to extend our heartfelt thanks to Charles, Edward, and the rest of the staff for providing an unforgettable experience. They truly made the hotel feel like a home away from home. We felt incredibly welcome and will definitely be returning in the future.

This hotel was awesome. The initial room we had a issue with the smell. I reported the problem and was immediately moved to another room. We could not ask for a better stay. We would definitely book the Sofitel Obelisk Duabi again.
Having had stayed at the hotel in multiple occasions over the last 3 years, it’s sad to say it hasn’t kept up with time. From corridors that were littered, room carpet that are shedding (don’t wear black) and a new younger clientele that left a sour taste from being loud land blaring music till 1am was the last straw. The front desk was accommodating but at this point I need to start looking for a new hotel.

Handily located to both DXB and Dubai Mall, what makes this a great hotel to stay at is the service from the staff. Our room was very spacious with a large bathroom and the bed was very comfortable. Our stay included breakfast and gluten free options were available.

Lovely hotel handily located to Dubai airport. We stayed 2 nights. Staff very friendly and helpful. We arrived 6am yet they still allowed us access to our room after a very short wait. Offer a free shuttle service to/from Dubai Mall. Reasonable in-house dining available and attached to Wafi Mall with some further dining options. There’s also a supermarket there. My only criticism would be I’m gluten free and breakfast options were quite limited in that respect for me personally (eg no GF cereal, only frozen GF bread, no yoghurt). Also the hairdryer in our room didn’t work however we’d brought our own so not a biggie.
It was the staff that made the property.Some updating of the room carpeting may be in order.
