Island Bay Resort

My husband and I traveled to the keys for our honeymoon and this was our first stop. This adorable place did not disappoint. It is very quiet and quaint and was the perfect beginning to our new beginning! Loved the friendly squirrels! The staff also surprised us with some champagne to celebrate 🍾 🥂

Island Bay Resort is a beautiful and place to stay. They have their own beaches with many things to do. We used their kayaks, played bocce ball and corn hole and spent some relaxing moments on their pristine beach.
I really enjoyed taking a nap in their hammock!
This was a birthday getaway for me and on my birthday we came home to our room decorated and even a cupcake!
The owners are so thoughtful and welcoming.
We definitely want to come back again.

This is totally self catering but has everything you need, it is very peaceful and you have a perfect view of the Sunset, we would definitely recommend you visit.

We have been visiting here for many years and just love it!! If you are looking for your own little cottage, beach, and bay this is the place for you!!

Perfect quiet getaway for two. Well kept property and friendly staff.

No restaurant, no free breakfast, no pool or hot tub, no noisy kids running around……if this sounds ideal, the Island Bay is the place for you. Quaint cottages with private porches, private beach with lots of comfy chairs and hammocks, kayaks, SUPs, and beautiful sunsets. Away from tourist congestion but only a short drive to all things Keys. Just what we needed to recharge and refresh!

Island Bay Resort was a terrific place to stay. The setting is beautiful; the team is friendly and could not be more welcoming; the venue is loaded with old Florida charm. Our room was pleasant and equipped with everything imaginable. We had a nice refrigerator, a two-burner cooktop and silverware, plates and cooking gear. It was easy to shop for breakfast and lunch food and enjoy it on our own patio. Also, the bathroom was well-equipped; the amenities were all high-end.

We did spend some time sitting along the waterfront. Island Bay has comfortable lounge chairs all shaded with umbrellas. Ther is also a hammock.

We would definitely go back to Island Bay.

My wife and I stayed here for a couple of days and what a great decision. The resort was very good about keeping you up to date prior to check-in and sending you the access code prior to arrival. The check in process went great and although our room wasn't ready upon arrival she made very sure it was completed as soon as possible. The suite was very roomy, clean, and provided everything you may need. The private beach had everything for a good time on the water and also very quiet. Although expensive were really enjoyed our stay here and will highly recommend.

while starting the new year in Key Largo and were very happy with the experience. The whole property is well configured, clean, and functional. Everything seemed very new and well maintained. The check in process was very easy and smooth, and we appreciated how well equipped both the cottage was, as well as the private beach area. Being able to bring our own food and cook or do a grill out was simply perfect, and we really enjoyed the opportunity for kayaking. If I had only one minor criticism, it was that the housekeeping service seemed to be performed very late in the day (~4pm on one day) - which also seemed odd given there are not many cottages and the daily service is fairly minimal. Still, this wasn't enough to give less than 5 stars for a great experience! Highly recommend.

The island Bay resort in Key Largo is the perfect small getaway that you’ve always looked for and could never find. Cozy bungalows, private beach, and private access make this the perfect spot to forget what got you there to begin with.
Planning on going again as soon as possible.
