Island Bay Resort

Location was nice. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Island Bay Resort was a terrific place to stay. The setting is beautiful; the team is friendly and could not be more welcoming; the venue is loaded with old Florida charm. Our room was pleasant and equipped with everything imaginable. We had a nice refrigerator, a two-burner cooktop and silverware, plates and cooking gear. It was easy to shop for breakfast and lunch food and enjoy it on our own patio. Also, the bathroom was well-equipped; the amenities were all high-end.

We did spend some time sitting along the waterfront. Island Bay has comfortable lounge chairs all shaded with umbrellas. Ther is also a hammock.

We would definitely go back to Island Bay.

Clean, simple and very comfortable.

My wife and I stayed here for a couple of days and what a great decision. The resort was very good about keeping you up to date prior to check-in and sending you the access code prior to arrival. The check in process went great and although our room wasn't ready upon arrival she made very sure it was completed as soon as possible. The suite was very roomy, clean, and provided everything you may need. The private beach had everything for a good time on the water and also very quiet. Although expensive were really enjoyed our stay here and will highly recommend.

while starting the new year in Key Largo and were very happy with the experience. The whole property is well configured, clean, and functional. Everything seemed very new and well maintained. The check in process was very easy and smooth, and we appreciated how well equipped both the cottage was, as well as the private beach area. Being able to bring our own food and cook or do a grill out was simply perfect, and we really enjoyed the opportunity for kayaking. If I had only one minor criticism, it was that the housekeeping service seemed to be performed very late in the day (~4pm on one day) - which also seemed odd given there are not many cottages and the daily service is fairly minimal. Still, this wasn't enough to give less than 5 stars for a great experience! Highly recommend.

The island Bay resort in Key Largo is the perfect small getaway that you’ve always looked for and could never find. Cozy bungalows, private beach, and private access make this the perfect spot to forget what got you there to begin with.
Planning on going again as soon as possible.

Excellent experience. The resort is beautiful and well maintained. They supply everything you would need. Very peaceful.

Everything was perfect! The common areas are lush and gorgeous- very well kept. There are quite a few places to sun, play games, or chill under a tiki hut. The room was adorable and had everything we needed. It was an easy drive to some good restaurants and attractions.

Fantastic location right on the water with a beach and jetty. Everything here was clean and very well kept. The beach chairs, kayaks, paddle boards, covered areas , and corn hole were all in very good condition. The room was well laid out and quite spacious. We did choose one of the larger rooms though. We would very much come back and stay if we are ever in the keys again. The management and staff are friendly and very approachable. They will happily recommend restaurants for what you are considering for dinner.
This really is a great little hotel that is very well kept.

Location was fantastic

We absolutely loved this spot. It is not for everyone. If you want a party spot, this ain’t it. It is paradise. Quiet, clean. And the personnel is super attentive (thank you Pat). If you want a quiet getaway you will not be disappointed.

This property is exceptional!!! It’s a small Resort of 10 units situated in a bay with a beach and dock. Long boards and canoes available for use free of charge. Comfortable sunbeds with umbrellas to sunbathe and other seated areas - just to chill!! Rooms are compact but so well equipped with everything you need and spotlessly clean! Cooking facilities, coffee machine & coffee supplies, beautiful toiletries, towels replaced daily, beach towels - all in your cottage and if you need more you only have to ask!!! Staff are just lovely and want to make your stay as wonderful as possible - so friendly! This resort has been well thought out, it’s a beautiful location, quiet & peaceful - a little slice of paradise! We had a fabulous stay here and will come back again!! Thank you to Island Bay Team for making our stay so special!

Sue and Steve were awesome. They welcomed us Texas love! Resort absolutely gorgeous! Place very much private and nice place for peace. Will definitely return.
