Comfortable beds
Pool was not working :(
The location was great. It was nice to see the property again. I had a previous excellent stay at this hotel before, and I am happy it still meets the great standards. The front desk are very welcoming. They help with the checking-in process and are very patient. Well trained and courteous, and were able to answer all my questions in a timely manner. The main ambience of the hotel is very good. The room was very clean. The room I had was to very good taste. Everything worked. The bathroom made me want to take a bath every time. It was a working vacation, so I had to use a table and chair. The ones provided in the room were very ergonomic. I couldn't have asked for more. The hotel in general, was close to the Dow Centennial Centre, which was an added bonus. I had made a mistake of booking a room in another hotel nearby (a horrible mistake, as it turned out, but cheap me...), and it was so bad I had to cancel my stay after just a day, and it was a very different experience than I had at the Super 8. I will not stay anywhere else in Fort Saskatchewan except at the Super 8, I think I learned my lesson...:)
Everything was stellar. For my working vacation, it went very well. Maybe can be a little cheaper? But the prices were quite competitive, so I don't think...
The staff are amazing.
Breakfast was decent.
No. Notice hot tub is not in working order. And swimming pool is freezing cold.(to cold to swim)
Also room 109 had a water leak when showering. So room floor ended up soaked.
If these things are fixed the place would be 4 or 5 stars. Windows in both room 109 and 204 have broken windows on outside doesn't affect inside room but further shows the need of repairs.
I liked how deep the tub was, needed to destress.
I forgot my sandwich in the mini fridge when I left, 😔

Cleaning staff and most front desk staff (Maria!) were terrific.
Shower had no pressure. Dribbled out and water was lukewarm at any time of day or night.
Elevator worked inconsistently. Staff were made aware and they knew about it.
Upon check out, I had to carry all my bags down the stairs. I told the front desk staff about elevator not working as I struggled by with all my bags and no one lifted a finger to assist me! Then she wished me a good day!! 🙄
