Great warm service at a really nice hotel.
Pros:

Perfect location. Great staff and really comfortable and warm room. Breakfast was perfect as well

Cons:

Road noise but that is location at top of lake with road splitting the hotel and my room was road side

Very clean, nice atmosphere, friendly staff

Cons:

Shower flooded room and unable to use. Breakfast not the best, didn't enjoy buffet style for cooked breakfast.

Pros:

Breakfast was great, lots of choice, staff were friendly, room was clean and surprisingly nice for a dog friendly room.

Cons:

The smart tv, I’m not sure if it was due to connection strength issues, but we weren’t able to use any apps on the tv, which you can deal with, if the tv had channels, which unfortunately it had around 10 channels you could actually watch, it defeats the purpose of having a tv in the room. Also the towel radiator did not work

Breakfast was nice. Area was nice

Cons:

The heating in the room was on all night. Couldn’t turn it off. We had to keep the windows open all night to let the heat out. There was water running from somewhere, we the windows opened up onto the flat roof, not sure of it was a leaking gutter, overflow from the boiler or something but it kept us up all night. Pillows were uncomfortable, lumpy

All very friendly lovely location good food parking was good as well

Cons:

the room very small out side door didn't fit well draft came in all round door toilet door didn't shut properly shame toilet roll holder was so close to toilet made it hard to sit on seat could see it had been broken off at some time refitted old holes could be seen was not told when arrive to go to pub across road to book in and collect key no sign in reception to tell you that had to ask a gest what we had to do then told the room was in the main building but after walking round hotel unable to find room in hotel went out side and found it around the corner in the court yard it seamed the staff where to busy especially in the bar were you booked in and ordered evening meal

Overall it was a lovely last minute break in an ideal location.
Pros:

The room and bar area was lovely. The staff were fantastic.

Cons:

The breakfast didn't offer anything other that the buffet (e.g. Eggs Benedict, pancakes, etc). There was no other coffee available other than filtered coffee (e.g. Latte, flat white etc), which we feel was disappointing for the money for the one night.
