Das Zimmer ( Nr 8 )für zwei Personen war doch sehr klein , Bett für uns zu hart und schmal . Küchenzeile war vorhanden mit 2 Herdplatten , Microwelle , geräumiger Kühlschrank. Sitzgelegenheit war kaum zu gebrauchen , es ist eine schmale Theke an der Wand und 2 Barhocker davor das ganze ca 50 cm vom Bett entfernt , wenn man den Hocker ans Bett schob konnte man knapp sitzen . Geschirr gab es etwas Besteck , Pfanne , kleiner Topf und das ganze steht unter der Spühle was ich nicht appetitlich fand. Tassen und Gläser in einen Schrank über der Dunstabzugshaube . Bad war sehr klein , schätzungsweise 2 x 1,5 m , wenn man auf Toilette sitzt kann man kaum die Türe schließen die Füße stehen an der Tür an .Steckdose im Bad gibt es nicht und das Licht ist nichts zum sich schminken wollen . Handtücher waren da aber ein kleineres pro Person mit dazu wäre schön gewesen . Bettdecke war sehr fleckig. Gehörte alles dringend modernisiert. Schrank war vorhanden und ausreichend allerdings ohne Kleiderbügel .

Property didn't have electrical adapters for EU plugs to offer. We had to buy adapters in nearby store.

First room was in the basement

I was misled from the beginning. The receptionist mentioned that tea, coffee, and cups would be available in the room, but when I arrived there was nothing there. When I messaged him about it, he insisted he had spoken to the staff and confirmed that tea and coffee were in the room, so I then had to send a video proving that nothing had been provided.

Later, I was told that staff would come in the morning to sort it out. However, I specifically requested not to be disturbed because I had an important audition the next morning and needed to rest properly. (Bear in mind that the replies I received were already late.) Despite my request, someone knocked on my door before 9am, and shortly after that they started vacuuming the floor. It was extremely disappointing and impossible to rest with that level of noise.

On top of that, the curtain was so thin that the room became very bright as soon as the sun rose.

I also booked this hotel specifically because it clearly stated that there was a lift. Since I was travelling with a double bass and a stool, this was essential. However, I was given one of the rooms above the lift level, which meant I had to carry the double bass up narrow stairs and then go back downstairs again for the stool and hand luggage.

I travelled from London and chose this hotel mainly because it was close to the venue for my competition. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing and did not meet my expectations at all. I will definitely look for other options in the future.

If you are a traveller looking for a good place to rest and sleep properly, this is not the place for you.

Nie było suszarki, żeby ułożyć umyte naczynia ani ściereczki - to drobiazg, a mógłby trochę ułatwić pobyt.
