Uneingeschränkte Empfehlung für New York!
Pros:

Sehr schönes Boutique Hotel in Midtown Manhattan. Sehr schöne, gemütliche Bar und ein Café in der Lobby, in der man entspannt sitzen und auch Kleinigkeiten essen kann und Frühstück bekommt, wer mag. Wir haben einmal dort gefrühstückt und auch das war sehr lecker. Hotelgäste bekommen den ganzen Tag Kaffee/ Tee gratis, zur Happy Hour auch ein Glas Wein. Die Lage ist super, die Anbindung vom/zum JFK perfekt, über Penn Station, Subway direkt um die Ecke, aber auch Bars, Restaurants, Cafés direkt vor der Tür. Das Personal ist äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit, die Zimmer sauber und modern eingerichtet. Uns hat es wirklich sehr gut gefallen. Wir waren als Familie mit drei erwachsenen Kindern 5 Tage ( wir hatten ein DZ und ein Dreibettzimmer) dort und würden es sofort wieder buchen.

Cons:

Ja, die Zimmer sind klein und es gibt kaum Ablagefläche, aber es ist halt NY und in den meisten Hotels wohl so. Uns hat es nicht gestört, dafür waren die Zimmer mit viel Liebe, modern und stylisch eingerichtet. Holzfußboden, Regendusche mit ordentlich Druck und es gab hochwertige Pflegeprodukte dazu. Es gibt keine Kaffeemaschine auf dem Zimmer, also morgens in der Lobby den Kaffee holen und den ersten Kaffee/ Tee im Bett genießen.

Great choice for exploring Manhattan - will return!
Pros:

Great location for our New York visit. Loved the theming of rooms and got an upgrade after some issues with the heating the first night. Would recommend choosing the Superior King for more space. Free morning coffee is a nice detail, but breakfast would have been better :)

Cons:

Hotel lacks a bit of atmosphere due so the building being "small but long" limits space in reception / common areas. Rooms and location is good though.

A cozy, beautifully decorated place to stay in the heart of Chelsea.
Pros:

The overall decor and feeling of the hotel was a great vibe and very cozy. The breakfasts were delicious and the food downstairs in the restaurant was overall fantastic. We had many meals there. I appreciated where there was thoughtfulness at the hotel to highlight artisan made and local artists. The staff was always kind and helpful.

Cons:

There wasn't a private place to hang out. All the public spaces were open...nothing but one small seating section of the main lobby for hotel guests only. Many people not staying at the hotel came there for the coffee shop and bar - which are both great. During the day, the rooftop area was available but it felt like a club/bar that was closed. We didn't feel like we could hang out there - it looked like a place for only private events and not set up for guests during the day. It would be nice if that was more inviting or open for hotel guests and not just evening events.

Also, my room was really small and not great for two people. There was very little space for our suitcases and limited hanging space. I think the more affordable rooms are best for only one person. I would suggest upgrading to a larger room for two people.

I was surprised they used a brand that was not natural or ethical for the toiletries. It was a trendy brand, but not a clean or sustainable brand at all.

Overall a lovely hotel with friendly staff in a great location
Pros:

Location was good. Close enough to two subway stations. Free coffee and tea offered plus free WiFi. Quiet neighbourhood but still very central.

Cons:

Limited amentities in the room. No fridge. Kettle, slippers and robe only available on request.
