Room and bathroom could have been bigger, fridge made a lot of noise.
Matched expectations. Great stay and would definitely consider again.
Friendly welcome from staff. Room on top floor and facing back so nice and quiet. Nice decor and good room and bathroom size. Great location.
Very clean and tidy
Window blind didn’t work at first but they came to fix it no problem. Bathroom also quite small.
The shower, no breakfast.
Comfortable quiet room in great central location. Good tea and coffee facilities.
We did not see one person at the hotel (guest or staff) over a whole weekend. We arrived just a few minutes after 6 (when reception closes even though we had kept in close contact with them about our arrival time). Even at that time we had to use electronic registration and entry instructions. No one also seemed to be around when we left on Sunday morning (around 930). This might be heaven for some people but it did feel like an odd slightly soulless experience for somewhere that calls itself a hotel. Shower temperature was a bit variable, but not a major problem.
Great location near to town and beautifully presented rooms. Staff were friendly and check in was easy.
There is no sound insulation and on the ground floor we woke up every time someone came back from the pub. You will definitely need the supplied earplugs!
Room was clean and comfortable, host was thoughtful and kind
Parking, but that's Brighton
Very clean and spacious and catered for all needs
Could have done with a shelf in the bathroom
Great location, clean and comfortable would highly recommend
great location and helpful staff , clean room
We really enjoyed the hotel room. It was clean and comfortable. A very large window brought in so much natural light. We were in room #6, the top floor, which might have been a concern with it being so hot during this heatwave, but the hotel provided a portable floor air conditioner, which completely cooled the room down while we were in it. The bed was extremely comfortable. One of the best I've slept in.
The hotel location was just a few minutes walk from the beach and Brighton Pier, and a 10 minute walk to Royal Pavillion & The Lanes. An excellent location. An added perk was the digital guidebook the hotel created. We accessed this throughout our time in Brighton while on the go. It featured many restaurants, attractions, and pubs. Found it very handy. Highly recommend this hotel.
This isn't so much of a dislike, but more of a heads-up for those who book a room. Check-out time is 10am. You can, for a small fee, extend check-out until 12pm, but the hotel can only store your luggage until 2pm. Our train back to London wasn't until 5pm, so we had to roll luggage around the city throughout the afternoon. There is a city luggage storage area near the Brighton train station, but didn't see that until we got close to our London departure time. If you plan to stay in Brighton for the day after checking out, I recommend utilizing the city luggage storage by the station after checking out of the hotel.
Fantastic location. Exceptionally clean room (Called the Gin Room) Decorated to a high standard with nice EnSuite bathroom. Daily cleaning service and towel replacement if you needed it. On arrival were some complimentary items such as a bag of crisps, couple of chocolate cake type biscuits. Tea/Coffee facilities with a coffee bags and nespresso coffee machine. The fridge was handy for milk and a few beers or wine as it was a nice size. Having a air conditioner unit was great, but some heat was coming from the room below, which could not be helped.
Not a lot of storage for clothing for us staying 6 nights... So maybe people don't stay for long periods... We struggled here...... A couple of bowls/small plates for cereals and cheese would be nice. There was a small cheese board but no knife... These little things would have completed our stay.
Lovely room, great location
Perfect location, close to nightlife, food, shopping, and close to the sea. Even though the room was street level it was pretty quiet.
When we arrived no one was there to let us in so we had to wait for them to arrive, it was just a few minutes though. The water in the shower was cold the first morning, I texted the manager and never heard back so just took a cold shower. I found her in the lobby area a few hours later and she said there was a pressure issue but it had been resolved. It was but it would have been nice to have had a reponse to the text instead of having to seek one out.
