Rodeway Inn Gurdon I-30

This hotel is amazingly clean and tidy. I was comfortable and did enjoy my stay there.

No one in office. No breakfast of any kind - even though advertised. 4 guests - 2 towels & charges are wild.

The 2 ladies at the desk was helpful and caring

The room and bathroom was not very clean, no ac. The girl working the front desk was very sweet and helpful.

We waited 20 minutes after calling someone to open up the office and check us in. Open sign & lights were on, note on door said to call for help. Phone mailbox was also filled. Reserved 2 rooms, one was good, clean. Other room was not clean & toilet needed to be flushed 2-3 times to work.

The room was missing the blow dryer. The t
white towels were stained. And the ice maker that is located outside did not work. No bag was even in the ice bucket nor was there a bag for dirty laundry. There is no coffee maker in the room but the lobby stayed locked so you could not get. In there for coffee nor was there any made. This room cost $82 a night and you can’t even get ice, coffee, or breakfast although Expedia advertises as though they have a complimentary breakfast. The bed has uneven lumps as well.

It’s unique that you have to pay $5 for a real towel because the towels that they have are not even body size and they give you two even if you stay for a whole weekend.
I don’t like that I’m supposed to be able to get coffee in the lobby because they don’t have coffee pots in the rooms. Every time I have gone to get some, the door is locked and no one is in the lobby working as well as the coffee has never even been made.
Also, the air conditioning doesn’t work well and the floors are dirty.

Only negative thing was the ice machine not working hardley at all

There was never anyone in the office or on premises. We were suppose to get free continental breakfast but the office was always closed. I tried calling but only got voicemail with no one calling back. If there had been an emergency we would have been in trouble. The room was clean but the window of both rooms were broken and when we told staff they didnt seem to care.(The only time we saw staff was when we checked in and that was 30 min after checkin time) I was very dissapointed and think I should get a refund since we had to buy breakfast. the continenal breakfast is the number 1 reason we booked this hotel.

Very friendly staff go out of the way to help

Supposed to have continental breakfast, which I didn't want. However, did want coffee and at 8:30 a.m. was not able to enter lobby. Had to leave without my coffee. I'm not a happy camper!

Flies and dirty rooms. Seems like they want to charge you on anything that happens

Time was 3 o’clock nobody is in office till 4 o’clock gravel parking lot for trucks. Nice people.

Room was large and comfortable

Didn't have hot water the whole stay

We showed up at 9:30 and had to call the staff. To come to the office
We got our room and we were exhausted and just piled our gear in. We started to set up a bed for our daughter and discovered the made bed had no sheets. Went to the office, no body there, called again and finally got some sheets
Went back to the room only to discover the pillows had no pillow cases and there were no towels or wash cloths
Called again and got the manager. He showed up with two towels and two pillow cases
We made due for the night as everything else close buy was full
Then discovered there was no toilet paper!

The next morning I found another motel, went to cancel the room and was told no refunds. So 3 nights paid and out for 2 of them

The floor was so dirty your feet turn black just walking to the bathroom

The building is old and run down, the rooms are filthy, it had not been cleaned and the staff didn’t care. No apologies, just excuses that they had been busy and didn’t get to it

Then the manager said, I can’t give you a refund but I care give you a free night for the next time your in town,

Stay away, do not waste your money

There was VERY LITTLE T.P. IN THE ROOM. What is this? Too cheap to fill accomodations? We had to call and call to get someone to come out and wait on us at 8 p.m.

The staff was friendly and luckily there was a dinner across the street which was OK. The unit was downstairs which was good since no elevator but was noisey at 6am. There’s a cement factory across the street and lots of truck traffic at night do not the best sleep. Room was adequate for 1 night stay.
