DO NOT STAY OR EAT HERE....RAT INFESTED HOTEL WITH EMPLOYEES THAT JUST DON'T GIVE A RIP!!!!!
Booked 3 night stay(F,S,S). Second night discovered a rat in our room around midnight chewing on a bag that had some Italian bread I purchased in the Strip District. Yes... I saw the rat. Called down to the front desk and requested a new room, someone to get the rat out of the room, or a booking another hotel. Was told there was nothing that could be done and to talk to the manager in the morning. She seemed calm as if she was not surprised. Packed our bags to leave an upon leaving went down to the lobby to find the front desk person siting with feet up in a chair on her phone, a security guard sitting on his phone and and another man on his phone. I then asked again for help from the front desk to contact the manager and she 1st told me she couldn't then after I told her I knew she had the managers number was told that "he won't answer". Handed me a form and said to call corporate in the morning. Could not be less concerned. Found a room at the Wyndham(folks couldn't be nicer) and finally got to bed around 2am. Contacted GM, name was John, on the following Tuesday and was told he was not authorized to provide refund but said he could give me points. I told him I was not interested in the points and just wanted my money back since a resident of his hotel(the rat) stayed in my room without permission. I requested the ownerships name and phone number so I could request compensation from them he said he was unauthorized to provide that also(worthless). I JUST WANTED MY MONEY BACK!! It seems he was lying since apparently he processed a partial(not full)refund. Our friends who we traveled with found partially eaten wrapped candy and wrapped granola bars on their desk in their room.
Clarion Hotels should be ashamed to represent this place. What a dump.
Woke to a mouse in our bag of Hershey candy from Hershey,Pa, that were gifts,
bringing home from our travels. It chewed into all of it. GM, unprofessional, wasn't phased at all hearing of a mouse in the room. Leads me to believe they already knew of this problem! Disgusting!
booked this hotel in Pittsburgh for three nights, but my experience was extremely disappointing and stressful. On my second night, while I was in bed, I saw a mouse running in my room. I was terrified and immediately called the front desk to ask for help moving rooms, since I had a lot of belongings and didn’t feel safe handling it myself. I waited over 15 minutes and no one came. When I finally went downstairs, I found the staff outside smoking.
They eventually changed my room, but by that point, I was too uncomfortable and anxious and had the worst night, very afraid even in the new room.
This was not handled professionally or compassionately, and I truly hope management takes this seriously. No guest should have to experience something like this. Do not stay here — it’s not worth the stress or risk.
I am currently laying in bed at 9:30 at night in our room. The party above us has the music so loud it is vibrating our walls. My 8 year old is unable to go to sleep. I went down to the front desk to be told he was sorry but the party goes until 11 at night. Freaking unreal, you should be able to sleep in your hotel room you paid good money for. Not a happy camper at all
Breakfast was so-so , hardly any fresh coffee to speak of.
Everything was going great until we discovered a mouse in our room.

Nice hotel
Room was clean and night staff who checked us in were very friendly. Very odd location and the pool is located where people who walk by can look in which is a little concerning. But overall was a good stay.
Room was clean. Staff were very nice.
Rooms were clean. Front desk staff were pleasant and helpful. Limited dining options in the area.
Lack of professionalism at front desk when checking in. One person was very good but the second person completed ignored me and was taking to the first person that was trying to help me check in.
Also, I called the front desk to request a blanket and help with the AC and no one answered.
Room had some uninvited guests. Mice! Also person working in the breakfast area was extremely RUDE and talked down to my adult daughter because she filled water bottle with ice water.

Not perfect but comfortable.
Housekeeping sub-standard. Not the best neighborhood
Reported a mouse in my room- told I would be contacted by the manager, never was
Power outage, no apology offered or update provided
Received housekeeping the first 2 days, and not for remaining 6. Was told I needed to request it, but it wasn't posted, and as I already had received it didn't know that was needed
Staffs were friendly, but our room was facing the road which is super noisy for day/night. There's nothing nearby the hotel and the room was not clean and I don't want to go into the details about what had happened but it freak us out very bad.
Great location for a Pirate game. Suggest Max's Allegheny Tavern for beers and a bite. The schnitzel and Reuben are awesome.
If you are planning on walking to the Northshore for dining and sports and you choose to walk, be prepared to walk past many homeless people camped out under the overpass. While the room was fine, thankfully we weren't charged for the mouse that also occupied our room. Pay the extra $$ and stay closer to the stadiums in a nicer hotel.
