In Pangalengan, the Citere Resort Hotel is probably your best bet but don't expect great luxury.
Pros:

The hotel offers good value for money. The newly renovated front area looks stylish and clean. The breakfast buffet offers some good options. There is an attractive pool for both adults and children.

Cons:

The rooms close to the street side tend to be rather noisy. Don't expect great luxury. The bathrooms are a bit outdated and don't smell very nice. Light from other spaces stays on at night and can not be switched off.

Cons:

They waked us up early to bring breakfast to our room.. We didn't order that.

Cool mountain resort with lovely swimming pool
Pros:

Quiet resort hotel in the mountains. Friendly staff, not that fluent in English, but very much willing to help. Lovely swimming pool and cool as it's in the mountains. Rooms are well-maintained and simple. Near to the Malabar Tea Estate, otherwise not much to do. Lovely if you want some peace and quiet away from Bandung.

Cons:

No seating in the restaurant, so any meals are delivered at the room. As there's no real table there, that's not ideal. No taxi's, only Gojek and local transport (little buses), so difficult to reach travelling with luggage. Not much to do in the area or at the resort.
