exceeded expectations !
Pros:

We didnt do breakfast as we are not breakfast people but used the ground cafe a few times and on the last occassion we just wanted a drink and nibble before heading to the airport and didnt have uch time the maitre d allowed us to just have some salad off the buffet set up - complimentary which was much appreciated. We were also allowed a later check out of 4pm without paying which again was very much appreciated as our flight wasnt until 10pm.
Also used the level 51 bar which was blooming gorgeous and the drinks and view were amazing

Exceptional
Pros:

One of the best hotel stays ever! Staff were exceptional. Buffet breakfast amazing. Mini bar complementary. Definitely value for money. Would totally recommend to anyone wanting to be close to KLCC and also the street food and markets.

Cons:

Nothing it was incredible.

Pros:

Der Aufenthalt im EQ-Kuala Lumpur war wirklich hervorragend! Der Ausblick aus dem Zimmer direkt auf die Petronas-Towers ist wirklich faszinierend und für uns definitiv ein Highlight. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, die grossen Fenster sorgten für viel natürliches Licht und eine spektakuläre Rundumsicht auf die Stadt. Auch das Hotelpersonal war durch und durch herzlich und zuvorkommend. Beim Frühstück im 5-Sterne-Hotel erwarte ich, dass Kaffee/Tee nicht am Buffet zur Selbstbedienung stehen, sondern dass die Bestellung am Tisch aufgenommen und serviert wird. Auf Nachfrage war der freundliche Kellner uns natürlich behilflich, jedoch machen genau solche kleinen Details den Unterschied. Während des Frühstücks wurde ohne Nachfrage unsererseits einfach die Rechnung und das Kreditkarten-Terminal zum Tisch gebracht, was wir durchaus als stressend empfunden haben. In der Sky51 Bar mussten wir über 40 Minuten auf unsere Essensbestellung warten, zudem wurde eines der beiden Gerichte vergessen, was etwas ärgerlich war. Abgesehen von den F&B-Outlets hat uns das Hotel aber auf jeden Fall überzeugt und wir werden bei unserem nächsten Aufenthalt definitiv wieder hier nächtigen.

Overall, amazing stay, would definitely come back and recommend it to people.
Pros:

Overall, our stay was beautiful. That includes the beautiful and comfortable room with amazing bed and pillows. The staffs were amazing! Friendly, helpful and inviting. Some if not all, did surprised us with their hospitality by making sure we will be informed on whether the pool is open almost immediately, they are highly aware where are our tables are despite high volumes of guests etc. The gesture was fully pleasant. The breakfast buffet spread, Amazing! It was our first time having a breakfast buffet here and to sum it up, we would definitely come back for it! Delicious and I love how inclusive the spread apart from just continental spread. Our favorite was the scrambled egg, it’s soft and not dry.
Finally, the facilities of the gym, parlor and swimming pool was beautifully thought. Love the view from the infinity pool, the gym was well equipped with everything and the unexpected monsoon shower and saunas (though I didn't get a chance to use it) was clean, comfortable and luxurious.

Cons:

Unfortunately, we find several things unsatisfactory, that is lack of hooks for us to hang our clothes especially if our swimming suits are wet or just to hang some clothes generally and outside of the cupboard. Secondly, the door handles in the toilets (understandably due to aesthetics of it all ) a little bit unfriendly to people who has arthritis or eczema or just joints problems. It was rather difficult for me at least to open and close the door. Lastly, the doors was slightly on the thinner side as we could easily hear our neighbors talking or just closing the doors.
