Not worth it
Pros:

The security guy at Matrix carried me out of the bar and threw me out outside after the supervisor stepped on my fractured leg they wont even respect you and let you explain. Absolutely disgraceful and not worth it. Don't waste your money to go there you will be disappointed. There are better bars to go to in doha than VIP.

Pros:

Hotel stay was going quite good until we checked out they told us there is stain of tea on bed sheet which was true but they charged me 300 QAR for that which is more than bloody room rate, upon asking them about this whooping cost they said we can’t do anything and reception was very rude

I was with family and all this shocked me

Not recommended very poor service

Upon checkin I was disappointed with the way the reception welcomed me when I informed him I have a booking he directly said are you sure you have a booking.the room i was assigned too on the 2nd floor had a bad foul smell in the bathroom,carpet were dirty ,curtains had dirty food stains,I called reception and housekeeping several times to raise my concerns no one answered.at exactly 6am the room next door were trying to open the connecting door since our room was 206 and was connecting to 205.they made a lot of noise when I tried to call reception the phone was picked the second time but there was no change the noise continued we additionally ordered more bathroom amenities which were delivered in a dust bin bag.we decided to wait for breakfast time.During the breakfast time when we were trying to dish out our food we had to wait for one of the staff to dish out his own food and he went to the back to eat .while we dishing out our food Emran one of the restaurant staff came shouting at us the seat we had chosen is for family however there was no signage and yet there were other guests who didn’t have kids and were couple like us seated in the same place.(His approach wasn't good ) However we moved to another table.The baked potatoes had hair in it which we showed to one of the staff no empathy was extended .Overall service wasn’t good and we were not happy with our stay which we had looked forward to.

Horrendous. Filthy, 3 star at best.
Pros:

Don’t even think of staying here. We were booked for 2 night stopover to attend
business meeting and booked because it was close to the airport. Checked out after night 1 and went somewhere else better for same price. Room 1 Filthy, mould on the windows, stains on carpets. Asked to change room 2 TV, kettle didn’t work. Stains on carpet and above night club so no sleep. Not 5 star 3 at best.

Pros:

Our check-in experience in the evening was excellent. The gentleman at reception was very polite, professional, and welcoming — and his friendly smile made us feel truly valued as guests after a long day.

Unfortunately, our check-out experience wasn’t at the same standard. The lady at reception didn’t greet us with a smile or much courtesy, which was disappointing after such a warm and positive check-in the night before.

Additionally, there were a few issues with the room:
• The coffee machine couldn’t be used as no capsules were provided.
• The kettle was stained and not working properly.
• The carpet had visible stains.
• We also waited over 20 minutes for a room check before we could check out, which delayed our departure.

Worst Experience I ever had in worst restaurant
Pros:

One of the worst hotel I ever stayed.
Someone is smoking in non smoking room it's not my fault because of them my sleep is got disturbed and when I call on a reception they don't know how to answer so unprofessional worst thing in my life I ever faced. If you put the name VIP hotel it doesn't can be vip for this kind on unprofessional staff behavior.

Pros:

Where do I begin? The room is tattered and dirty. There are places the wallpaper is scraped off the walls and there were stains on the carpets and on the furniture. There are no UPS outlets for charging anything. The one outlet in the living room is down on the floor and difficult to reach. We requested two beds and ended up with one. There were two towels only in the bathroom and a bath mat. The hotel is located in the middle of nowhere. Nothing within walking . And finally, the room is so cold that I had to get up at midnight because I couldn’t sleep.

I have booked the hotel room by Booking.com on 17th of October for 1 day. When I reached there to Hotel lobby there was 1 Indian guy in blue suit and 1 Indian lady in black suit. They didn’t even greet us and lady said us yes tell me, like I am borrowing money from her. Then I said them I have I have reservation of the room and this is the confirmation no. By booking.com, they checked on the system and after that as per them they don’t have room availability. While asking why, they said I check in late. But I said if I am doing late check in you guys could call us or inform me that if I will be check in late I will not get room. She said me that we don’t have time to call we have thousand of guests to calls. Come on you don’t have thousand rooms to whom you need to call. She started blaming on us that’s it’s our mistake. And another Indian guy started arguing with us with that lady. After that one guy came to us I think he was FO manager. He was also blaming us and not solving our problem. He was saying check your email that they informed me but I showed my email it was nothing. He said I don’t have room can’t do anything. The big thing they didn’t even apologize to us. I came from long flight super tired and they behaved like this to us. And while i was going out from lobby no one even helped me to bring luggage’s. I asked help to another guy to help. Such as rediculious experience. Mr. Manager please learn and teach your staff to behave. Kindly check the cameras how they behave with the guests. Being as a hotelier is so shameful for me.

Pros:

Hotel Reception Desk assigned a room that was not ready for occupancy. Hotel Desk Reception did not give me another room after complaining about the A/C climate control system after about 50 mins inside the room. There was no change in (lowering) the temperature, nor increasing the Fan settings on the Climate Control system settings. I called House Keeping for someone to check the controls, After calling a second time, a Service Technician came to the room around the 30 min mark and assured me everything was alright, even though I did not notice any changes the whole time he was there. The Service Technician was there for about 20 mins before he left. Nevertheless, I then went down to the reception desk to ask for another room. A women at the reception desk said another service technician will come to my room to check it again. I went back to my room and waited. By this point I was angry and could not believe how bad the service at this hotel was. I considered checking out and going to another hotel. I called the reception desk in my room that I will be checking out. A women answered and told me the manager would like to talk to me. By this point, there was no going back. The Manager called my room begging me to stay and will get another room for me, as if to fix the whole problem. Too late for that. I'd had enough of this hotel's sorry ass service. Because it was booked through expedia, I have to contest the charge now (after the fact).

My recent stay at vip hotel room is good and comfortable smooth check in and check out hotel is very beautiful especially the corridor carpet and design decor nice only few things i have to add while enter the room there is a no hand towels no face towels no hair dryer in the room if you can add this things it will be good.

Unprofessional staff

We stayed here for 2 nights. The room had all the basic bathroom amenities, which we loved, and the bathtub was great. However, the carpet and chair were full of stains, which made the room seem dirty. If something could be done about it, that would be great.

The reception at the time of check-in was unwelcoming; the staff member didn’t respond when we greeted him, didn’t smile, and seemed like he didn’t want to speak. This was particularly disappointing after a long flight, as we arrived around 2 a.m. on July 30th. At checkout, the experience was no different. The staff were busy arguing and not attending to guests around 6 a.m. on the 31st. We had to leave the key at the desk and inform them we were checking out because they weren’t acknowledging any of the guests. The staff need proper training.

On a positive note, the pool was clean, and with the heat, it was amazing to spend some time there.

Very nice hotel.
Pros:

Enjoyed every moment especially the matrix club. We stayed for one night. The receptionist politely requested us to pay an extra fee as compared to the reservation price inorder to get us a room with a view. We later went to the club which was mesmerising. I can say it was worth it.

I liked the hotel,it was an amazing experience, reception staff were very professional especially the Tunisian staff Houssam ,he was very helpful.the manager Rania was also professional dealing with me and my family.thank you so much for the good hospitality.

Room was uninhabitably cold half the visit
Pros:

Air conditioning malfunction and the room was uninhabitably cold for half the time I was there. I could not sleep, I contacted Reception three times and they couldn’t fix it. Two hours before I left, they offered me another room. After the visit I contacted them about a refund,” it will be referred to the relevant department”
