The staff and the location. You couldn’t get that much more central to the city. The room was spacious and the bathroom was huge. The Breakfast was great and the staff very accommodating. There’s a lot of charm to this hotel 🥰
I personally don’t like vent controlled heating because as was the case here it didn’t work well. central heating through radiators can be controlled much better. Shower was either on or off unless there was some magic way of controlling hot cold, which I am told there was but there was absolutely no visible indicator

It was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly. The bed was extremely comfy and we both slept really well. The breakfast was delicious
The location was great for seeing all the city sights.
Decour was a bit dated in our room but we understand the hotel is slowly being refurnished. The areas already refurbished were lovely.
The ‘plumbing’ noises from the next room were a bit annoying!

Nothing negative to say
The room was good, a bit austere, no pictures on the wall. We had to adjust the heating and the radiator in the bathroom was not on. It was quite cool in the room.
The temperature of the room was left to cool, we had to adjust it ourselves.
Breakfast is amazing. Room very comfortable and clean. Fantastic location - everything is walkable. Hotel nice and quiet. We also had a dinner in the hotel which was lovely too
