Breakfast
The air conditioner was too noisy to sleep through so we had to open the window. Other guests were noisy and knocked on our door in the night.
I was a bit underwhelmed at the breakfast, despite filling in my food intolerances before my stay , they had no gluten free bread to offer me for my breakfast 🙁
Noise from the bar late at night
Location very central. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was quiet , comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was lovely.
Bathroom extractor didn’t seem to work , apart from that everything was fine.
We liked having two comfortable chairs in the bedroom. The staff were all very friendly. Nice bar to sit in and outside terrace. Great location

Calm, peaceful, clean, friendly staff and central location. Loved it.
A lovely hotel in a great location. The staff were quite fabulous and amongst the best anywhere. The room was large, comfy, and a little quirky; we were impressed. The bed was perfect, even in the hot weather.
The room booked was at the top of the hotel, going up and down over a number of staircases. There is not a lift to the upper floors and access would be very difficult for even the slightly impaired. The restaurant was not open on the night we were there, which was a shame, but there is a very good steak restaurant just opposite.
Location, ambience, history of building
No full length mirror in bedroom, shower door didn’t fit causing puddles on floor. Headboard on bed was awkward with ‘wings’ which meant it was difficult to use bedside units. Small reception gives appearance of being temporary
The breakfast and the dinner, the vibe of the place.
No lift to our room and the map to the car park, needs to be sent in advance.
