Happy to stay there and happy to return in the future.
Pros:

Excellent friendly staff who were always happy to help. Excellent breakfast choices available. The fact that the hotel had a good connected restaurant was a bonus as we had birthday celebrations during our trip.

Cons:

Room was a little cold and difficult to become warmer!

You have to come here!
Pros:

The location is ideal for a work base that I use from time to time. The Lodge itself is a haven of excellence, with food second to none in the area. The rooms are spacious and classy, with really well thought through little extras - such as the improved coffee and tea options, really good quality bathroom niceties, and a really spacious shower.
The restaurant is superb! Service is quick and easy, staff are very friendly and the food is to die for - if you come you have to have the ribs...

Cons:

There is nothing not to like about this place - it's excellent! If the location was more central or on a major route, it would be booked out all year. Having said that, I got the last available room on a mid-week [Wednesday] night, which goes to show how good it is!

Quiet hidden gem that exceeded my expectations.
Pros:

Being a solo traveller there is always the worry about parking close to where I'm staying and i literally parked under my room window. I opted to have breakfast, which was divine and cooked fresh everyday and arrived pipping hot to the table, all the staff were friendly and welcoming during my visit. Its a hidden gem that I will not hesitate to stay at again.
