petit dejeuner tres varié mais avec un probleme, le temps d'attente pour une commande d'omelette... 20 mn cela parait un peu excessif si on se refere au prix de la chambre. le buffet est excellent mais point tres negatif sur les commandes de la carte. dommage.

My recent stay at Park Hyatt was far below expectations, especially considering the brand’s usual standard of professionalism. During check-in, both Sally and Chris at the Front Desk failed to provide even the most basic courtesy or information. There was no introduction to the minibar, hotel facilities, or my Hyatt membership benefits. The entire conversation revolved around money, with no sense of hospitality.
When I raised a formal complaint to the Front Office Manager Xiao Shuai, his response was extremely defensive and continued to focus on the rate, rather than addressing my actual question about why the check-in process was so unprofessional. What made it worse is that my official complaint was later replied to by Xiao Shuai himself, which is highly inappropriate and unprofessional.
That said, I would like to express my appreciation to the Concierge team and the evening turndown attendant. They were genuinely warm, attentive, and kind – a sharp contrast to the attitude at the Front Desk. Their care made my stay slightly better, but overall, I sincerely hope the management will take a serious look at the training and attitude of the Front Office team.
I was feeling slightly unwell so I ordered chicken porridge for room service around noon, thinking that it’s an easy and safe choice. I was very surprised when I was told that there is no more chicken porridge for me to order because it was “sold out.”
How can a five-star hotel in Shenzhen, Guangdong—a province known for its delicious Cantonese style food—be “sold out” completely on a basic staple item as a chicken porridge? And can’t the kitchen just make one from scratch??
So with that option gone, I ordered the preserved egg porridge. It was the saltiest porridge I’ve ever had in my life, and it was dry with lots of pepper added. They could’ve left the heavy pepper on the side. I don’t know what happened—did the kitchen get burned? Even at breakfast time, it was possible to just get a bowl of chicken porridge or preserved egg porridge where I could add my own seasoning and not have it taste so terrible and dry.
Sorely disappointed.
