Lovely stay in the centre of town.

Pros:

The hotel was very clean, the beds were very comfortable and the breakfasts were brilliant. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

There was no lunches or dinner available but there are plenty of restaurants and pubs close by.

Convenient but pricey if not for the generous breakfast

Lovely building and gracious staff; Off-street parking and close to town to walk to. Fantastic breakfast

Bathroom was old and dated, and cramped and the shower didnt work well.

Excellent value for money
Pros:

Overall excellent. The room was spacious and clean, front of house were lovely to talk to. Location perfect. Great value for money.

Cons:

Bit of an odd smell to the room, think it was the cleaning product they use which at least showed they cleaned it but some freshener spray after might have been nice. Bathroom was dated but functional.

Exceptional service and accommodation
Pros:

Central location, welcoming friendly staff and a fabulous breakfast. The price was excellent especially for a vank holiday weekend. We have stayed there a few times as go regularly to Cockermouth to visit family. Highly recommend

Pros:

the hotel was lovely, very comfortable and clean. Perfect location.
Staff very friendly and welcoming.
Room cosy and comfortable, only thing that could maybe have made it a little better was if the bed was a bit bigger {we have a bigger bed at home} as my husband kept facing my way and breathing/snoring in my face haha!!!
