Managed by a private host
Near a local beach, pretty nice
No reception, No water refill, no lobby lights, sheets were dirty, the old lady asked us to cancel our booking on this application so she will not be charged higher.
She 'forgot' to return my id when we checked out. When we're back to Saigon she kept calling and blamed the bed sheets and continued to ask for more money. Horrible!
I have great time
Good place to enjoy and rest
location is good for step-donwn and walk , i enjoyed running along the beach with many locals in the early morning.
few more steps to swim.
the view now is limited by the big canopy to cover the first stage hall , we dont see the beach with people, what a pity.
The location was interesting, the beach view was also a plus, room was bigger than other hotel in Vung Tau, staff was nice also.
I don't reallt like the parking are. In the evening we have to park near the beach. Salt water was really harmful to the vehicle.
We chose to have our own breakfast on the balcony each morning. We purchased supplies in the town and simple crockery and cutlery. We stored all our provisions in the bar fridge. We found lovely restaurants for our lunches and evening meals. We loved the small beach near us. We were able to go for a swim very easily. We have visited Vung Tau before, but consider this our best visit to date. We found everyone very pleasant and the gentleman who attended to all our needs at the hotel excellent.
Whilst the location is excellent, we felt that the rubble piled at the entrance to the small beach made it difficult to access, especially for those barefoot anticipating a walk on the beach or a swim. It is not in keeping with the other excellent walkways and acccess which we have been accustomed to in Vung Tau.
It is a hotel of a low category however for a very high price! The pictures show it much nicer than it is. Balcony is available but you can't enjoy the seaview due to the seafood restaurant at the lower floors. It smells and it's full of people with the specific noise level. The hotel entrance and lobby are located in that restaurant as well. The owner seems to put all his attention into the restaurant business but not the hotel. We booked 2 nights but left in the middle of the second night as there was no warm water available for shower. Only solar heating can't work in Vung Tau since there are a lot of rainy days. On hot days when the warm water is available you do not really need it, but on the rainy days!. We still had to pay the second night but at least were granted with some discount. It's hard to contact the staff in the late evening. It was pretended that no credit card payment is possible, which is hard to believe.
Overpriced room
Full of ants.
