Amazing - would return when we are back in Istanbul.
Pros:

Well located near a bus stop, and the staff were super wonderful - they helped us instead of pushing us towards tourist scams. Every staff member we interacted with was genuinely amazing and really impressive. The bus stop gets you close to all the main spot, and you can easily travel by tram. Breakfast is not a buffet but served to your table, is very delicious. They also have one of the best coffees I’ve had in Türkiye. We stayed at another “well located” hotel where we had to rely on overpriced taxis, whereas this turned out to be much better. They even gave us a treat to celebrate our honeymoon, which was such extremely thoughtful.

A very unpleasant experience that should be avoided.
Pros:

I really appreciated how everything smells old — from the furniture to the mattresses and basically everything in the room. It gives you that authentic “time travel” experience.
I also enjoyed the prominent noise that keeps you awake and feeling very much alive throughout the night.

Cons:

The hotel is very old and completely outdated for today’s standards. There’s a lot of hidden dirt everywhere. The bed sheets and mattresses are extremely old and worn out. The furniture is scratched, outdated, and every door or window creaks loudly. The carpet and bathroom were very dirty, with a smell you won’t forget.
In the morning, there was no hot water. The staff seemed superficial and uninterested. The balconies were literally filthy and completely filled with oversized armchairs that didn’t even fit the space.
The towels were unusable due to their smell and condition. The pillows were very uncomfortable.
Overall, a very bad experience. The only things that looked decent were the hallways, which were clean and equipped with air fresheners to mask the unpleasant smells.
I would not recommend this hotel even with a very large discount. By far the worst experience I’ve had in Turkey.

الفندق لا يرتقي إلى نجمة واحدة ، المطعم قديم والفطور مكرر ويقدم بطريقة شعبية ، جلست أربعة أيام والفطور نفسه ، الفندق لا يرتقي إلى خدمات فندقية . الصور مأخوذة بشكل احترافي ومعدل عليها . الفندق عبارة عن طابقين للسكن. المطعم شي مقرف للغاية .

Somehow nice restaurant at the top of the hotel.

Cons:

This is not, I repeat NOT 5 star hotel. You could think of maybe 3+ star even then …
- If you wish quiet room without any conection door or arguing people / screening kids… well then this is not hotel for you.
- Breakfast was every day same and you don’t have choice what to eat ! They serve it for you like it or not that’s what you get.
- the room was big enough but very dirty under the bed.
- the view of the room was right on the garbage so not that much impressed.
