Pros:

The lodge was exceptional , absolutely amazing place and very comfortable and modern . Location its amazing as well . Cant fault it at all, Restaurant next to it also great and modern . We will book again . Thank you

A weekend in Troon
Pros:

The apartment is comfortable, well appointed, with fascinating views. The welcome pack was appreciated. The food at Scott's, which is on site, was delicious (we went three times) , however it is very popular so booking is probably a good idea.

Cons:

Nothing. We explored Troon by following the walking trails and it would be very convenient if going over to Arran, , we could see the ferry from the balcony.

Clean and good location and very helpful friendly staff. Would recommend it - although expensive!

Cons:

Photos on site looked like walk-in shower so disappointed over/bath shower and no non-slip shower mat. I have recently had knee ops so getting into a bath not possible/safe. Perhaps pictures are generic for the flats in the building? No egg cups!! Generator outside the bedroom window so couldn’t have it open at night.

Pros:

Had a lovely 3 day stay at the salt lodge. The apartment was spotless and staff were very welcoming. Location was fantastic, the view from the balcony of the marina was brilliant watching the yachts coming in and going out. Will definitely stay again in the future.

Pros:

Great view of harbour. Close to shops.
Room exceptionally clean which is rare.
Lovely little added touches and extras in bathroom and kitchen. Great parking. Safe.

Cons:

Local taxi service very expensive to get around but not fault of the Salt Lodge. If we had known this beforehand we would not have stayed here.
Cost £100 return to get to Saltcoats which was more than our total petrol cost from the midlands to Troon!
