Everything. It was like staying in a prison but worse!!
First of all it was NOTHING like the photos I understand booking.com photos always look nicer than the place but let me tell you what the room was like.. There was dirty condom on the floor, dirty sheets, people constantly having sex to the point we could never sleep the walls are WAY too thin, it’s in a very unsafe area, one sachet on shower gel for 3 nights one person?? Tiny roll of toilet roll, mould all around the room, bars on the window make you think your locked up, all the dirty towels where kept outside our room they stunk! The shower is awful and kept switching off when I was in the shower, I could keep going but I’m sure I’ve said enough now..

Room smelt of so much smoke it was barley breathable in there. AC out of function. Live wires hanging out the walls on multiple places. Massive cobwebs in ceilings. They have a sign outside offering rooms by the hour which is very worrying. Just all around dirty, all walls had multiple mystery stains on them. Not even remotely like the pictures. Please note that the pictures I’ve provided are from the room we got AFTER complaining about first one…
the workers there especially the receptionist are hospitable. they attend to you quickly anytime you have issues with the facility. the room is clean and I love it.
the only thing I didn't like was my bathroom water was not flowing well but they were able to solve the problem for me.
Duvet was a bit narrow. Also, a policeman came knocking our door at 1am asking to see our passports. Reception staff told me this was normal in Vietnam.

Good location, just a bus ride away from town. Bus only costs 5000vnd to get to Ben Thanh market.
Cheaper than grab.
There were good eateries around.
The room had a table and sofa for our family of 4 which was good.
There were cobwebs on the room and bathroom cleanliness wasn't the best.
But overall was good enough for our short stay in hochiminh
