1,24 euro per persoon om (volgens medewerker) de IT faciliteiten in stand te houden???? Volgens de medewerker te vergelijken met de boekingskosten bij een concert ticket. Straks vragen ze ook separaat geld voor de toilet, lift, het licht, de douche, etc etc. Bizar: nooit meer slapen.

Leuk hotel midden in Schagen!
Pros:

Een ruime kamer met balkon en zelfs een klein keukenblokje.

Cons:

Het ontbijt vonden we wat simpel, weinig bijzondere broodjes.

Mooi hotel, geweldige ligging.

De ligging was geweldig, midden in het centrum. Ook de inrichting van het hotel was mooi en netjes.

Cons:

Het was netjes geweest een berichtje te ontvangen dat er tijdens ons verblijf een kermis pal voor het hotel stond. Veel licht en geluid terwijl wij als drukke ouders een nachtje weg waren zonder kinderen….

Het personeel dat bij het ontbijt liep was niet erg vakbekwaam. De man die er liep deed zijn uiterste best om de andere twee dames bij te sturen en recht te zetten wat zij lieten liggen.

The unexpected worst decision
Cons:

Avoid this hotel if you expect a quiet night's sleep.

I paid €142.50 for one night in what is advertised as a 4-star hotel. I knowingly booked a room without windows because that was clearly stated during the booking process.

What was not disclosed was that the hotel would be hosting a loud party with booming music until after 00:30.

I made the reservation the same day, and at no point before booking or during check-in was I informed about this. Had I known, I would have booked a different hotel without hesitation.

After 11:00 PM, when it became obvious that sleeping would be impossible, I complained. A hotel employee kindly checked whether another room was available, but the hotel was fully booked. She offered breakfast or a late check-out, which I declined because neither addresses the actual problem. I paid for a room to sleep in that night, not for compensation the following morning.

This review is not directed at the staff member who genuinely tried to help. The responsibility lies with the hotel's management for knowingly selling rooms on a night with a loud event without informing guests in advance.

The biggest problem is that this is an invisible risk. There is no way for guests to know before arriving that they may end up in a hotel where loud music continues past midnight. For me, this completely defeats the purpose of booking a hotel.

I would not stay here again, and I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone who values a peaceful night's sleep.

Cons:

Ausstattung des Zimmers: keine Haken im Bad für Handtücher, Stolperstelle im Bad, kein Schrank, Hängebügel viel zu hoch.

Pros:

Locatie was prima, bedden waren prima en het was schoon. De receptionist was vriendelijk.

Cons:

Er was net een nieuw incheck systeem in gebruik genomen en daar ging het een paar keer mis; we kregen tot 2 keer toe voor twee stellen één en dezelfde kamer toegewezen, we moesten voor onze 3 kamers 3x alle gegevens afzonderlijk invoeren, waardoor het inchecken veel te lang duurde. Al met al een enorm gedoe.
De algemene ruimte van het hotel en het restaurant zijn erg donker en het geheel straalt niet veel gezelligheid uit. Ik had voor de prijs wat meer luxe verwacht.
