Lovely old property with very eclectic furnishings, staff lovely and helpful, good breakfast
Charge of £20 for one night for non shedding and non allergenic cavapoo a bit steep, also really needs lighting at the roadside entrance , difficult to see in dark and I know where it is
All of it, lovely helpful, smiley Manager.
Nothing it was very nice and a very acodating Manager, he was lovely.
Friendly greeting on arrival. Relaxed and informal. Didn’t eat there so can’t comment on food.
A little worn in places.
It was such a unique and beautiful hotel and room. The staff were super friendly and helpful!
The WiFi isn’t great but otherwise all good!
Relaxed atmosphere but someone was there if you needed anything
Nothing
Nice place very welcoming, nice clean room and bed, tea, coffee all in room, and staff were all very nice, which made it a laid back atmosphere.
Room was very hot in the night, and the window was a bit rickety, but better hot than cold, but not moaning.
The staff were lovely.
The breakfast was lovely.
The room was ok, the shower was small.
Nice atmosphere, and made to feel very welcome.
Window didn't open , and rattled on the wind.
Very comfortable ,nice decor and friendly people, delicious breakfast
Told them two times my arrivals time, my room was 🥶, after complaining nothing done, I was sleeping all night in cold room.
Nice place to stay, friendly staff. Good parking

Such an interesting house set in its own grounds. The reception rooms were lovely and full of interesting furniture and items from around the world.
Our bedroom was well appointed with an excellent bathroom that included a long bath.
Breakfast was good with a full choice of cooked items as well.
The nearby road was quite busy but ear plugs were provided.
Well worth a stay if you are in the area.
Very dog friendly - our dog was welcomed warmly with a treat from the manager.
I think £20 for a small dog is a bit high.
The mattress was too firm for me but ok for my husband
The hotel manager was very friendly and put up with my son who kept going down to the bar for drinks in the evening, (it was his birthday!)
We really liked the quirky decor and that there were lounging rooms downstairs for our use.
Room was cold when we first arrived, but manager did sort it out quite quickly.
Shame we couldn't have a twin bed option. As this was the hotel I chose, I had to share a bed with my son. Breakfast could have been hotter and if I remember they had run out of brown bread for toast.
It was so homely & quirky. I loved my Attic room & the story behind the owner which explains the decor
Nothing really
The property was lovely and warm, despite it being quite old - looks like a new heating system may have been installed. The interior decor had an African theme (which we loved) and we understand the owner has links to education in Swaziland (Eswatini). Our room (9) was cosy and warm and it looks like a recently refurbished shower/bathroom. A welcome tray also included in the room.
I don't think we can say anything negative about the hotel or our experience.
The breakfast lovely and tasty very well served excellent way to start the day the room was well presented and the hosts lovely would definitely go back again
