Comfortable hotel close to Railway Station.
Pros:

The free coffee on 17th floor with its views were well received.
At first I thought the “Breakfast vouchers for the Seafood Market” were a crazy idea, but I actually enjoyed the arrangement, it was different and interesting.

Pros:

Schönes Hotel, wir hatten ein Zimmer mit eigener Waschmaschine - war top. Personal sehr hilfsbereit!

部屋は良かった。素晴らしい。
Pros:

部屋にはベッドはもちろん机、ソファー、洗濯機、ミニキッチンがあり広くてかなり快適だ。長期滞在を視野に入れた宿で快適に過ごすことができた。部屋に関しては満点、10点！　素晴らしい。また、最上階の展望露天風呂やラウンジも良かった。次回の函館旅行でもここを使いたいと思う。

Cons:

あくまで個人的な感想だが朝食はイマイチ。朝食が近くの函館朝市での提携店なのだが、すべてが観光客向け高価格の店ばかりなので価格と内容が伴っていないと感じた。地元の人が使うような店を提携店に出来れば素晴らしいものになると思う。

Don’t stay too long
Pros:

The beds were nice and the hotel is in good location - close to the fish markets. The room had a washing machine and microwave which was convenient.

The hotel offers luggage delivery service but…

Notes - we did get our luggages deliver to the next hotel. The receptionist Nishi was extremely helpful. The guy from the day before wasn’t helpful.

Cons:

The room had no ventilation. The window couldn’t be open to get fresh air. We stayed for 1 week and we regretted staying at the hotel.

One day before check out, we asked hotel staff if we can send our luggages to the following hotel but the receptionist didn’t assist us at all. We were informed to contact the service ourselves and ask. He also didn’t call the next hotel to ask for us either. He told us to email them instead. As tourists, we’re not allowed to have a Japanese phone number, so we couldn’t call our hotel… plus our Japanese is very minimal and communication would have been a bit of a hit and miss for us. From past experience, the hotel will always contact the next hotel and ask, as well as contacting the delivery service and check if shipping to following hotel is okay. So from this experience, we wouldn’t want to visit the hotel in the future.

We stayed for 8 nights and got our room cleaned once. If you like to get it cleaned everyday, there’s an extra charge.
If you like your room cleaned everyday this is not the place for you.
