Excellent hotel for the price with an amazing location
Pros:

Great location, just 300 mtrs frm the JR station that connects with the Shin Hakodate Station (the one used for the shinkansen), a 100 mtrs from the fish market (where you can enjoy a good breakfast with fresh fish) and in the main touristy area (you would just need to take a bus and/or walk to the attractions). The room was comfortable and the hotel has some good onsen, located in the last floor, with an amazing view and a pool inside and one outside. Recommended hotel if you dont want to rent the cheapeast hotel but also not the most expensive one. Really good price-quality ratio.

Pros:

This hotel is in an incredible location, just a short walk from Hakodate Station and only a minute from the morning market. One of the best perks was the breakfast voucher, which let us choose from 18 different stalls at the market. It’s also perfectly placed within walking distance of Lucky Pierrot (Burger store) which was a huge bonus. The room itself was spacious and our room offered an amazing view of the Hakodate portside. I also really appreciated the in-room washer and dryer, being able to do laundry at our own leisure for free was so convenient. Another thoughtful touch was the lobby’s live updates on the Hakodate Ropeway status, which made it easy to plan our trip up the mountain. It’s a well-thoughtout. Cant wait to stay another their other branches in other parts of the Japan.

Washer dryer and kitchenette in room. Love the extra sink and table space
- but it took too long to dry

No extra towels for onsen
- expected to use washer dryer, but 1 cycle took 4 - 5 hrs

17th floor lounge with coffee and a view. But it closed too early at 10pm

If its your thing, 18th floor onsen with sea view, with indoor and outdoor pool.

Location. 9 min walk fro JR Station and right next to seafood market

Cons:

Not enough floor space to open luggage

Windows don't open

A bit out of the way from restaurants for dinner

Pricier than other hotels nearby. Makes it up with washer dryer, and onsen
