The simplest of hotels with no services at all. Clean but tatty and very minimal facilities - no bar, no breakfast, only tea making in room.
All this despite being around the same price as Travelodge/Premier Inn
Good central position
In my recent trip no one came to replace tea bags and milk fresh towel has not been put during my last day and there was no shower gel on the bathroom plus there was a bag small bag of rubbisb lying close to my room door from second day to last day of my trip very disappointing compared to my last trip last trip of two nights was absolutely fine. This time I had to come down to collect tea and milk
Good price for where it is in the town centre
Basic hotel but very clean and comfortable
First room turned out to be unsuitable because of outside work noise but the helpful staff moved us to a quieter room.
One night stay, room was inexpensive but provided a good level of comfort and suitability.
Lovely location, nice and clean. Would be nice not to have to go to the reception to get a hairdryer. Apart from is, the place is perfect for the price you pay
Great location and afforfable price for a decent sized room
Prime location in the centre of Lancaster.
One lift out of order. The carpet area outside the lift on the second floor smelt very strong of ammonia.
For the price, you can’t really complain. There were marks on the towels and body hair in the shower, but the bed was comfortable and the room was a decent size.
I would stay again. Staff on reception are very lovely and helpful.
great accommodation, I would be happy to stay here again
The room was pretty terrible... none of the power outlets worked even after switching them on, and the shower head was broken. They moved me to a different room, which was better but still not that great.
It was fairly awful. The room was ok, but the bathroom didn't have toilet paper and the shower had had a bathmat removed at some point, which had left dirty/mouldy marks. I heard others had problems with this hotel as well. I got the sense that they were very busy that week, but I don't think I'd stay there again.
In the budget range for Lancaster but perfectly OK. There was always hot water, the shower was easy, the room was clean. It was handy for buses and not that far from the railway station. No breakfast offered, but cafes may be found round the corner on Penny Street.
For a bedside table, there was just a niche in the wall. There were coathangers and a shelf but no wardrobe or drawers for storage. It might be a good idea to have a couple of chairs in reception, in case guests have to wait.
Overall it is a very nice, clean, and safe place to stay. The beds are comfy and the rooms are clean. Rooms were cleaned only once during our stay so we did not have fresh sheets and towels everyday. Similarly tea and coffee was not replaced everyday. The hotel is budget but felt a lot better than majority of the other hotels in the area. It is quite central and a 10ish mins walk from the Train station.
Clean , good value, & central location.Only negative is bath mat needed a wash or renewal as black around the edges. Also ko hairdryer.
I’ve hotel for the price
Central position for what we needed
Reception staff looked after our luggage as we came on the train a couple hours before check in. Staff were nice and friendly. Stayed in 412 only issue was very squeaky floorboard as u walked in and out of the bathroom presume it would be heard in room below.
The only problem was unable to close the window room 208
