Cama y habitación OK. Ducha horribles
Pros:

La ubicación. Está en el centro y se puede ir andando al castillo y la zona peatonal

Cons:

El baño. La ducha no tenía fuerza y nos quedábamos sin agua caliente en seguida. Tenía una cortina corta y se empapaba el suelo todo el rato

Poor organisation, poor communication, wouldn’t book again
Pros:

We didn’t get chance to stay.

Cons:

When we arrived we were told the hotel had been overbooked by thirteen rooms. The staff staff they had been told everyone had been contacted. We hadn’t and they said other people hadn’t either. We are now battling for a refund.

My room was cancelled without notice
Pros:

I arrived at the hotel to discover my room had been cancelled. It was a very busy night in Lancaster so I could not find another room. Booking.com did not tell me the room was cancelled.

Cons:

Never managed to stay there

Midweek City Break
Pros:

The hotel location is located centrally for the City Centre. It is roughly a 5-10 minute walk from the train station and is less than 5 minutes walk to the City Centre. There is a Tesco at the end of the road the hotel is on and there is a Wetherspoons pub right next door. There is a shopping centre about 2 minutes walk from the hotel with a big Primark, etc. There are also a few very good pubs located near to the hotel. There are a lot of restaurants nearby and plenty of take away places also. The hotel was very clean and the rooms were comfortable. Check in and out was very easy with very pleasant and welcoming staff, including the cleaning staff.

Cons:

There was nothing I didn't really like. The room had 2x single beds which were ideal but I thought it might have had a double bed. The only minor inconvenience (not for me I add) was the location of the previously mentioned Wetherspoons next door. At closing time it was slightly boisterous for a period of about half an hour but nothing major.

Great location and nice clean basic facilities
Pros:

Great position and car park across the road was very convenient. Don’t be put off by it being a short stay car park, as long as you keep buying 24 hour tickets you can keep extending.
Friendly helpful staff, with no complications booking in or out.
Very basic facilities, but clean, with no real storage facilities at least there was little chance of leaving anything behind.
HUGE bed! TV had plenty of channels available.
There is a great vegetarian cafe just around the corner called the Whailtail, great breakfast.

Cons:

Unfortunately we were on the noisier side, the extraction wasn’t a problem as it was for others, but the pub moving crates and binning bottles etc was noisy very early in the morning.
There is open access to the lifts, only one working, which means reception be bypassed and there access to the room floors, this should have needed card access to each but this was disabled so security was a bit of a concern. In fairness the automatic doors at entrance were disabled on Saturday night, to improve security.
The shower was very difficult to control, apart from a difficult to find tiny “Goldilocks zone” it was either freezing or boiling hot!
