Not worth it
Pros:

The property was nice

Cons:

Most of the Indian staff always spoke so loudly and in the own language didn’t really do a good job at were so rude and loud. The 2 Japanese staff were super lovely. The breakfast for it to be that expensive didn’t have much variety.

Pros:

Erg mooie, moderne en schone kamers. Voor Japanse begrippen zijn de kamers ook erg ruim. De watertap op de gang was voor ons ook een bonus.

Cons:

Een extra plankje in de badkamer voor spullen was fijn geweest. Ook zat de accommodatie relatief ver van het centrum van Kyoto.

Schönes Hotel mit guter Bahn-Anbindung
Pros:

Das Zimmer war großzügig! Wir hatten genug Platz für unsere Koffer.
Die Lage zwischen 2 U-Bahn-Linien ist perfekt.
Tipp: 200 Meter entfernt (gegenüber der Bank) ist ein hervorragendes Sushi-Restaurant, das auch sehr viel günstiger ist, als die Restaurants in der City!

Great location, staff helpful, would recommend
Pros:

The location was great, about 10 minutes from the station and we could walk to fushimi inari in about 20 minutes down the river. We were surprised the twin room was bunk beds but gave us so much more space for our luggage so this turned out to be a great idea. The staff showed us how to book the luggage delivery by qr code which was so easy! In the evening they had free tea , coffee and juice.

Cons:

The breakfast was ok had 4 main dishes to choose from including french toast, then had some self serve but there was no cereal or no toast (so for a fussy english person not ideal)

Nuestra experiencia en The Reign Hotel Kyoto fue excelente. Tuvieron el detalle de decorar nuestra habitación por nuestro aniversario, algo que nos encantó y que hizo nuestra estancia aún más especial. El hotel está muy bien equipado, la cama muy cómoda y todos los días realizaban la limpieza de la habitación, si no quisieras que limpien todos los días solo pon el cartel de "No Molestar".
Un día probamos el desayuno y estuvo delicioso. El personal fue siempre muy amable y atento. También nos gustó que hubiera máquina de hielo, agua filtrada y bebidas de cortesía todos los días. La ubicación nos pareció muy conveniente, ya que se puede caminar hasta la estación y, si prefieren no caminar, hay paradas de autobús cerca.
En general, nos sentimos muy a gusto y recomendamos este hotel por sus instalaciones, su servicio y los pequeños detalles que hacen la diferencia.

Pros:

Habitaciones amplias, hotel moderno y muy nuevo, todo impecable y un desayuno estupendo.

Cons:

Quizás está un poco lejos de los lugares turísticos y la estación de Kioto, unos 20-25min paseando, aunque si es cierto que tiene autobuses a 5min del hotel y metro a 7min y hay tiendas de conveniencia en la zona. No es un gran problema pero sí que si vuelves cansado la opción de volver dando un paseo se hace pesado.

Bestes Hotel in Kyoto
Pros:

Das Hotel ist extrem gut gelegen und liegt zwischen zwei verschiedenen Bahnlinien, die das Reisen mit der Bahn unbeschwert machen. Die Anreise mit dem Shinkansen verlief ohne Probleme. Von unserem Zimmer aus hatten wir direkten Blick auf den Fushimi Inari-Taisha Schrein. Zu Fuß war der berühmte Schrein auch in 20 min zu erreichen. Das Zimmer war sehr großzügig geschnitten und hatte genug Platz für unsere Koffer. Auch die Einrichtung war sehr ansprechend. Alles war sehr sauber und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Von 15 bis 21 Uhr werden im Restaurant unten Getränke angeboten, bei denen man sich bedienen kann. Frühstück wird auch angeboten, haben wir aber nicht gebucht. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbreit. Es gibt auch eine Dachterrasse von der man einen guten Blick über die gesamte Stadt hat. Von dort sieht man selbst den Kyoto Tower. Das Hotel ist sehr außergewöhnlich und wir würden auf jeden Fall nochmal buchen.
