Nothing short of amazing.
Pros:

I love the location, a bit far but worth it. The food is also amazing, the staff are amazing and the vibe is very welcoming. I loved every second of it.

Cons:

The breakfast buffet not having eggs when we went there, that was the only downside.

We got what we expected.
Pros:

Lage ist super mit Blick auf die Lagune. Das Essen hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen!
Ein sehr freundlicher Kellner hat uns bei der richtigen Auswahl geholfen.

Cons:

Das Restaurant hat durchaus Potential aber die kaltweiße Beleuchtung und allgemein das Ambiente im Restaurant. Da ist noch viel Luft nach oben

Terrible, dirty bedding, and the manager is not interested in her guests

The bedding was dirty with blood on the sheets and was clearly not cleaned or made up after previous guests stay..I left several messages at reception and by phone for the manager to call me, she still hasn't made an effort. This is the 2nd time I have an issue with the hotel, still waiting for a breakfast refund which we paid for unnecessarily - we were told by the manager it will be refunded and two years later, still not. I live in the UK, but book hotels for my family in SA often - Shark Bay will never be used for a stay and I'll advise everyone in my business and friends circle to NEVER stay at this poorly managed hotel. It's a pity because the food is good and can be a very nice hotel if not mis-managed

Pros:

Great location. Breakfast was amazing Riaan is just the best host. The chicken livers were top class.

Cons:

We had to walk out the reception to get to our rooms. Passages and conference room were very noisy.

Staff was very helpful and pleasant. Rooms was clean

We didn't stay in the hotel but in the adjacent building .It was very dark and there was no cover from the hotel to the building and it was raining

Focus on the little things
Pros:

Views were beautiful

Cons:

No door between bed and bathroom, asked to setup the room for our daughter with easter eggs that we will pay for they confirmed but did not do it so we ended up disappointing out daughter after making her excited about the egg hunt in the room

Pros:

it was lovely and clean. very lovely staff all around the hotel.

Cons:

I did not like the spread of the breakfast it really needs to up it's game in that especially because we need to pay for our own breakfast as breakfast is not included in the booking. the supper aswell needs a new menu. for example I had the prawn curry that was not prawn curry at all prawn curry is not supposed to be with peanut butter and coconutty it is supposed to be Tamayo based and spicy. just a few pointers
