A fantastic top-quality hotel in the business district of Liverpool, within a short walk of Liverpool One and the city centre, with restaurants and bars in the immediate vicinity. This was a last-minute booking and it was amazingly good value. We were allocated a room on the 17th floor which had fabulous views over the city, including both Cathedrals. The Sky Bar has amazing views over the River Mersey. The guest room was probably the best that we have ever had in terms of quality bed, bedding and fittings. The whole experience was top-class. It was my wife's 70th birthday and it was a truly memorable experience.
Everything was fantastic. We would definately recommend this hotel.

The location of Innside Meliá Liverpool is excellent, and Room 1515 had a beautiful view overlooking the water and cruise ships, which was definitely a highlight of the stay.
The restaurant was incredible and easily one of the best parts of the experience.
That said, there were several disappointments. The bathroom was very small and unusually open to the room, which may not suit everyone. The water pressure was weak, and the shower never got properly hot.
Service was inconsistent. Some staff seemed quite inexperienced, while others appeared distracted and not very attentive.
The biggest frustration was that I accidentally left behind my Tempur-Pedic pillow, which is not small and something I travel with often. When I called the same day, it felt like there was little urgency to check with housekeeping, and somehow it has now “gone missing.” For a hotel of this caliber, that was disappointing and concerning, especially given the value of the item.
There’s some charm to the property, but small details, like the tiny lift to reception where you have to hold the button the entire time, and the overall service gaps, made it feel below the rating and class it presents itself as.
Enjoyed stay we are looking at regular stay in Liverpool once per month. We will definitely consider styaing here again
Staff were amazing and very welcoming. The Sky Bar gave excellent views of the city and beyond. It was a nice touch to have complimentary soft drinks in the mini bar

Location, modern design etc
The bathroom set up is a bit weird - where the shower is open, sink is outside - a bit non conventional & uncomfortable. Not suitable for family stay.
There was no ironing board in the room

The food was not great very poor value for money and portions were not generous
The bed was certainly not comfortable and the pillows were very, very uncomfortable

Tap was broken on the his and hers sinks, TV wasn't level on the wall, wasn't a issue just didn't look right, but overall it was a very pleasant stay
