Disappointing
Pros:

The staff were friendly and tried to help as much as possible, despite not speaking much English. It was a 10 minute walk to Juanda station, which made it super easy to visit attractions. It was close to the MONAS monument, cathedral and mosque. There was plenty of shops, restaurants and ATMs nearby. They provided shower gel and shampoo. The TV and air conditioning worked.

Cons:

The shower had only cold water, there was no toilet paper, no free water refills, the bathroom was dirty and the towel/sheets were grubby despite being clean. The location was terrible, it's down an alleyway in the market, so grab can't get to it. Also, at certain times they locked the gates to some of the entrances, so you had to wander around trying to find a way in or out, which could take a lot of time and energy. The WiFi was inconsistent. The walls in the room were dirty. I'd recommend spending a little more and staying somewhere else
