Western Budget Whitecourt 1 & 2

The staffs are very helpful. The jacuzzi was working perfectly. The room was clean and tidy.

Room had a jetted tub which was a nice way to relax after work.

Check in and out was easy and friendly. Room was exactly what was expected. I would definately book again.

I stayed for 9 days with no house keeping unless you pay 18 dollars to have the room cleaned and have clean towels. I advise people to be careful unless the price is good like 50$ a night

Very disappointed with all aspects of this property. We booked this particular property for the use of the pool, which we found out was closed after paying our room deposit. This was after they had lost our reservation. The room did not have a working TV nor a working blow dryer nor an iron or telephone. We were moved to a second room with working TV and dryer. However when returning to room at the end of day we were locked out for supposedly not paying when they had our payment recorded for the defective room. Never again will we stay at this property.

The room was quite large. The breakfast was good. A great value for the price!

The nice lady who checked me in, made me feel very welcome. Very friendly. Upon check out the funny gentleman who I had a laugh with about technology these days. Thanks for the excellent breakfast and coffee.

I notice the small efforts that was put into making my room. How the towels were folded and how the toilet paper was folded into a diamond. I really appreciate the efforts of housekeeping. The bed was very comfortable. I'd stay here again. Check in and out; I was helped by two very well humoured people, which set the tone for the my stay. I always enjoy a good laugh after a long drive.

I got charged 18.50 for cleaning and they didn't even clean my room!!

Expedia needs the property to me more upfront about cleaning charges. They don't offer even basic cable, "free tubi movies" pre payed for one room then double charged for both. The room is loud with a fireplace heater that sounds like it's from the 1800s when it kicks on. It also appears that some of the long term renters have side bussiness being run out the back door.... I will never stay at a western budget

Everything was comfy and cozy including the fire place made the room nice warm and there's a separate little furnace in the bathroom I got to turn it on in the bathroom before when I took a shower cuz I don't like being cold after I take shower it was nice warm when I got out of shower....I thought that was cool 😎 thank you western budget ☺️

I have nothing to complain about other than the pool not being heated. The rooms were big and spacious with a kitchen unit. The black out blinds were great. Comfortable bed. The rooms seemed to be well insulated as I could not hear any neighbors and I watched a movie which was loud with no complaints.

BEWARE - they will charge a “new” charge of $18 for housekeeping. We stayed one night and the breakfast the next day was terrible. We are not picky people but this was ridiculous. I took in my Expedia reservation to show them my booking but they did not honour it. We won’t be back.

The room was too hot even though they said there was a new A/C in the room. The t.v. kept disconnecting. No decaffeinated coffee in the room. Very dated.
