Location was excellent and room very good. For the price we would have expected a breakfast, but as full kitchen easy to get supplies from supermarket across the street.

Good location in the center of Madeira. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean. No Breakfast. Apartments not actually a hotel. Extremely overpriced for accommodation only.

Everything. Its a home from home with the added bonus the room is cleaned perfectly every day. The staff are on call 24/7 amd is the perfect relaxation

This is not your average hotel but much better. Put together with flair, style and attention to detail. The location is brilliant, right in the middle of the city with excellent bars and restaurants a short walk. The staff are friendly, responsive and we followed all their recommendations about Levada to walk, restaurants to book and where to go for a drink - and these made our holiday. The pool and rooftop bar are beautiful, and evening jazz and music tasteful. Great place - would love to return!

Just Perfect!

We stayed at this apartment hotel for a week, and what an absolutely amazing place it is. The location puts you right in the heart of everything, and the service feels like a 5-star boutique experience with a genuinely personal touch. The apartment is fantastic and is cleaned every day—properly cleaned. The staff leave croissants outside your door each morning, a simple yet heartfelt gesture.

It was my boyfriend’s birthday, and they left a lovely note with a bottle of champagne; the day before, they surprised us with another note and chocolates. They clearly understand their guests and tailor the service accordingly. My boyfriend hates fuss, but I don’t mind, and they seem to read the room perfectly. Very, very good.

Practical touches are excellent: there’s a washing machine, so I’m returning with clean clothes (except for one small bag). The kitchen is fully equipped, so we made breakfast every day. The supermarket is just across the road and had everything we needed—perfect for us.

The rooftop pool is lovely and relaxing on hot days, and it becomes a bar at night, which is nice. There’s also a restaurant on the 3rd floor that is very good and accommodating for all tastes. The old town and cable cars are a 5–6 minute walk away. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Madeira. I can’t say enough good things about it.

This is an excellent location with a stunning rooftop bar and pool which makes you feel like you are in paradise. We have just stayed 6 nights and everything was exceptional from the service to the cocktails. The room was very spacious, meticulously clean, croissants delivered to the door every morning and if you needed anything at all then you just whatsapped reception and they sorted it within seconds! Fabulous place which we will definitely return to.

Wonderful staff, amazing location & beautiful and clean rooms

Top locatie naast de Mercado. Heerlijk rooftop terras met mooi zwembad. Mooi ruim appartement. Er is thee, koffie en water en ze brengen elke ochtend croissants aan de deur. Vriendelijk personeel, vlotte communicatie via WhatsApp. Gratis parking onder het hotel is ook een grote meerwaarde.

Sehr toller Unterkunft! Mitten in Funchal, mit tollem Ambietente: Vor allem die Dachterrasse mit dem Pool war ein absolutes Highlight! Aber auch das Zimmer war sehr sauber und schön eingerichtet. Der Service war außerdem herausragend gut! Wir waren zu dritt für eine Woche dort und haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt.

Die zentrale Lage ist einfach perfekt. Der Pool und die Rooftop Bar sind super, der Ausblick tut sein Übriges. Die Ausstattung im Apartment, der Komfort und die Versorgung mit Kaffee, Tee und Croissants sind ideal. Alle Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich, unterhaltsam und immer hilfsbereit.
Ja, die Tiefgaragenparkplätze sind eng, aber trotzdem hat es immer irgendwie gepasst ;-)

We got a last minute booking here as our previous stay had issues, and this hotel saved our trip! The staff were exceptionally friendly & helpful. Room was spacious and clean with every amenity you could want (shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush kit with toothpaste). Sent us recommendations for areas to drive too as well as locally in Funchal. Location very central to old town making it easy to walk and convenient to drive to get in/out of Funchal. Free breakfast croissants every morning, an espresso machine for free use in the room as well as a water/sparkling water machine & washing machine for free use in a common area. Rooftop access to a pool was enjoyable post hikes and there’s even a section for guests only as it does open to the public for certain days/hours (we never had more than a few couples up with us at a time). Free parking in a public garage that is attached to the hotel (via elevator. Parking is underground). Really can’t say anything but positives about this hotel and we will def be staying here when we return.

Fijn hotel, centraal gelegen. Goed restaurant en rooftop bar! Kamer is van alle gemakken voorzien. Heerlijk bed.

Die zentrale Lage mitten in Funchal geht nicht besser. Man hat alles vor der Tür.
Das Appartement ist top modern eingerichtet und auch die Küche bietet alles was man braucht. Der morgendliche Croissant-Service tut sein übriges.
Zudem kann das Parkhaus im Gebäude kostenlos genutzt werden.
Der Poolbereich auf dem Dach ist einzigartig. Man überblickt komplett Funchal und kann so richtig entspannen.

My husband and I stayed for five nights at Three House Hotel in the 2 br / 2 ba suite with family and one night on our own in a 1 br suite. Both rooms have a full kitchen, are very spacious and comfortable to stay in as well as extremely clean.

Check-in was very easy and the daily morning croissants were delicious. The rooftop pool is wonderful and has amazing views of the city. It’s a great place to gather during the day and sip on a drink from the bar. The hotel is a very short walk to the old town where there are so many wonderful restaurants and shops. Also a short walk to the harbor.

Enough can’t be said about the staff at the hotel. Thanks to everyone! The front desk is staffed 24/7. Everyone went above and beyond to help us with reservations for tours, taxis, dinner, travel issues…whatever we needed they were there for us! Communication between the staff on WhatsApp worked well and responses were timely.

I would highly recommend staying at Three House Hotel. Our visit to Madiera was elevated because of our stay at the hotel.

Contemporary design, large rooms, central location, friendly staff, good food and the best rooftop bar and pool. Dj Thursday-Sunday. Croissants delivered every morning…They had everything we wanted!
