The staff was courteous, and helpful. The rooms were cleaned every day. Overall a great place, with lot of restaurant options nearby.
Some of the common areas were dusty, and had dried leaves lying around, probably requires a cleanup.

Mercure Langkawi is it's location....Its absolutely on the best spot....the beach,food,mall,seaworld everything is just at walking distance...
Our Langkawi trip was really special for us and we loved and enjoyed everything about Langkawi so much;Thank you for your help and hospitality which will be remembered....
If you can please make another light port or lamp or any light source at the shower spot....the basin and upto commode is okay with the current lighting but the shower gets a bit dark...it will be best if you can ensure a light source there.....

Mercure was excellent—the hospitality was outstanding right from the moment of arrival. The welcome experience, including complimentary drinks, was a lovely touch, and the staff were consistently polite, helpful, and attentive.
When I entered the room, I was very impressed. It was well-equipped with everything one might need, including toiletries, an iron, a refrigerator, a hairdryer, and drinking water facilities. The attention to detail made the stay very comfortable.
The pool area was beautiful and well-maintained. The location is perfect—step outside and you’re immediately in the heart of vibrant beach life. There are fire shows, lively markets, and plenty of shops where you can easily book tours. Transportation was also very convenient, with easy access to Grab for getting around.
Check-out was just as smooth as check-in. And the breakfast was truly exceptional—one of the best I’ve experienced. The variety and quality were impressive, with something for everyone.
It would be great if the hotel offered a shuttle service to popular attractions such as Langkawi Sky Bridge or Eagle Square at least once or twice a day. This addition would make the overall experience even more convenient and perfect.
We booked the standard room intending to upgrade later, when we saw the room it was horrible!! really small, no window or balcony. The good part is when we asked for upgrade they gave us the privilege pool access room with fraction of the room price, and it was great. Mr. Shaz was very helpful and even gave us a complementary breakfast.
Overall was good value for money, but no direct access to the beach
