Great location. The premium room was a way too expensive for all the problems encountered. 😩😩
Pros:

The Okura is a beautiful hotel, which is walking distance to the Manila, International Airport, and about a 15 minute car ride to the BGC. The pool area, gym and spa were very nice. Food was good and the personnel were excellent. However, for a hotel at this price point there were many issues.

Cons:

Unfortunately, there were a number of problems with our room.
**MOST DISAPPOINTING - On or last night we were so looking forward to using the beautiful Japanese wooden soaking tub. But after dinner, when we began running the water, the tub became a third fall and still wasn’t warm let alone hot. Very, very disappointing and considering the other problems we just gave up on asking for help.
Other issues
1. Tv would effectively work.
2. It took a long time for hot water to get up to a reasonable temperature.
3. The shower room drainage system didn’t work properly, so it often flooded the entire bathroom, and I would assume that cleaning staff must’ve seen the wet towels all over the floor.
4. Minor - but just one more thing :The way scale didn’t work… Probably not a great idea to have a light powered scale in such a dark room.
😖😖Since we paid a premium price for that particular room, I would’ve expected a better situation, especially with regards to water and the beautiful wooden soaking tub, which we never got to use… a real disappointment.

Excellent stay
Pros:

Overnight stay and walking distance from Terminal 3, which was very handy. Hotel is beautifully appointed and the room was large, and clean with a very comfortable bed. Great rooftop pool and fantastic breakfast with a great selection of both traditional Japanese and western selections. Staff were exceptionally polite and helpful. Would highly recommend this hotel for short or long stays.

Cons:

Nothing. Everything was excellent. The only criticism if I had to would be that the pool floor edges had a slight green algae but this did not detract for the experience at all.

Pros:

The hotel itself is stunning. You'd almost forget you're across from the Manila airport.

Cons:

Perhaps an intro to using the technology in the room. The lights, thermostat and window blinds are all controlled electronically on touch pads throughout the room. I pulled a curtain off the electric component trying to open them.

Great stay
Pros:

We loved the wooden tub. The food and staff were great. We’ll be back for sure.

Cons:

I wouldn’t recommend staying in the Japanese room as there is no light from the outside. The windows are facing the reception area so you do not have natural ligjt and it was not very pleasant so for a 1 night stay it’s okay but longer i do not recommend. The lther room we tried had a good view and nice light

Wonderful Japanese Style Stay
Pros:

Everything. I love the Hinoki-Yu room. I've enjoyed the pool, the fitness centre and the health club. Staff are friendly and accommodating especially Maricar and BJ who assisted my spouse and I during breakfast.

It was a one-of-a-kind experience.
Pros:

Amazing buffet breakfast! With both Japanese and western options.
The room blew past our expectations - it was very spacious and Japanice!
The Hinoki-yu bath was really nice too - provided maximum relaxation

Cons:

Room was a bit cold and we had some trouble adjusting the temperature
