We loved the location. The proximity to Temple Bar District and all the sights in downtown Dublin was wonderful. Everything was within in an easy walking distance. The room was spacious, the bath towels were large and soft, which you dont think about until you are in a hotel with small towels. There was a refrigerator, stove, microwave, and dishwasher if you wanted to do extended stays. The restaurant on the ground floor was surprisingly wonderful. After a long drive to get there, the food was a welcomed surprise. The burger was enjoyed by three of our guests and the buffalo chicken sandwich I had was so good I wish I could get it here in the states. The coffee shop in the mroning was nice, and I hear the breakfast buffet is great but we missed it. The combination of room size, linens and services available on premises were absolutely wonderful and I am really glad I booked here.
Although I understand the green initiative of the hotel, our room was really dark. One light did not work but regardless there was very little light in the room. I could barely see when I was trying to pack and reading was all but impossible. The bed was a bit stiff and lumpy, and only a queen, but not a deal breaker. The other issue is not the fault of the hotel, but if you are booking in the near future just be aware there is construction right next door and it is noisy early. Despite these things I would still book this hotel again tomorrow if I were returning.
Location was very good
Very expensive hotel and it didn't include breakfast.
The room was dark due to poor lighting and there was little space around the bed even though we had an expensive suite. There was only one bedside table and one bedside lamp. The ceiling was moldy and needed painting. The floor had sandy type grit.
So close to everything and it had a coffee/bistro downstairs.
Took me 15 mins to find a spoon. They certainly aren’t where you would think they are. Also the lobby/ reception smelt like burnt rubber (I believe it was meant to be some sort of incense).
Staff was excellent, with the exception of one person in the bar. Room was spacious and comfortable!
Gym treadmill was not good…..but enjoyable running outside!
Cleaning staff was on site but did not come to our room once in 3 days

great hotel, with great staff, at a great location and all for a very reasonable price. I booked it day-off due to a flight cancellation and was extremely satisfied! Thanks to the great location I was able to explore Dublin and still make my flight the following day, thanks to it being very close to the Dublin Express Bus Stop

La richiesta di trattenere un deposito cauzionale al momento del check-in, sebbene avessimo prenotato con Booking (a cui avrebbero potuto chiedere riferimenti per addebitare costi aggiuntivi per i danni eventualmente cagionati alla struttura).
Amazing staff that was helpful and all around pleasant. The location was great for the airport bus and sightseeing musts.

This is our second stay at the Zanzibar Locke. We weren't disappointed on our return stay. It is so well located in Dublin near the main attractions! This will be our go to lodging whenever we head to Dublin. The rooms are clean, modern, and comfortable. It's a gem!
