הצוות נהדר וקשוב. החדר נח מאד והמיקום מצויין. לא אכלנו ארוחת בוקר.
הייתה בעיה קטנה עם נורה שלא הוחלפה אבל כל היתר באמת היה נהדר.
Location was great, room was clean, bathroom was lovely abd the staff were very kind and helpful!
This was my first time in London (my wife's second time), and we wanted a place that had a separate room to hang out in plus a kitchenette. This fit the bill (there are a variety of room types). The hotel was spotlessly clean and had a warm decor. We also loved the neighborhood and its literary vibe (bookstores, libraries, statues in parks, etc.). It was easy to walk a few blocks and get into the quieter part of London. After we had also explored the usual tourist sites in busier areas, we were even more happy that we could retreat back to the Morton in Bloomsbury. I also have to mention the Morton's staff as well because they were unfailingly warm and polite. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel!
Rarely does anywhere get 10 out of 10 but this place deserves it! Super friendly, happy to help and a lovely place to stay
Brilliant location just a stone's throw from Russell Square tube station (Piccadilly line for the underground to main train stations and Heathrow airport) and walking distance to Covent Garden, West End theatres, heaps of touristy sites and Oxford Street boutiques or by bus almost from the door!
Our room had everything we needed (including 'real' milk in the bar fridge), the bed was very comfortable, the bedding was good quality and there was aircon which was really appreciated in the heatwave London was experiencing.
The manager, Kadir, was super helpful, so too Anas - there was even gluten free beer in the Library bar!
The Morton was a great find and we look forward to staying there again.
The location is ideal it’s quiet but not far away from all the action, the hotel is lovely and clean. Rooms are spacious (I got the double). A very clean all around hotel, with great amenities (AC Unit especially during the heatwave) . As for the serve it was amazing, the staff are friendly and welcoming, a big thank you to Erika and Iryna. They were always so pleasant in the morning.
The accommodation was excellent but the truly amazing aspect of this visit was the Staff. They were unfeignedly warm, welcoming and efficient. My friend described it as he best welcome he had received in any hotel across Europe and the USA
Wonderful location; classical feel
Great hotel. This is my go-to hotel when traveling to London for work.
We had a fantastic stay at the Morton Hotel. The staff were warm, friendly, and genuinely helpful. Our room was luxuriously appointed with first‑class facilities that made the whole experience feel extra special. The location is excellent — close to public transport, great restaurants, popular shopping areas, and major tourist attractions, which made getting around and exploring London incredibly easy. We’d happily stay again and would recommend the Morton to anyone.
Room was nice, had AC down to 19degree C. Would not go lower during a small heatwave, no fan above or room fan for ac was minimal output. Felt ok being out all day, but overnight got stagnant and hot.
Bed was maybe a Queen, 2 double beds pushed together, possibly on the wrong side installed as they were hard as rocks with almost zero padding. Headboard wasn’t fully attached to bed or wall, every time you moved it made loud creaking noises waking each other. Other than that. Was fine.
I stayed here for 8 days before traveling on to France, just to hang out in London for a week and enjoy this lovely city. I looked at five star hotels and then I found the Morton Hotel and I loved the look of it online and it lived up to every one of my expectations. There is a lovely sitting room and bar located with the reception desk in the basement, which was unusual, but which works very well. I took one of the "apartment" rooms which are located in the corner of the hotel on each floor and overlook the park. I strongly recommend you do the same. I had a comfortable bedroom with blackout curtains and a sitting room with its own separate air conditioning, a TV, a couch, and a four-person eating table. Windows were openable for fresh air. In the entrance a small kitchen with everything you would need for a short or long stay. Bedside 220v power, full bath with shower, hair dryer.
There is no restaurant in the hotel, but you will be more than pleased to eat at the Fitzroy Hotel next door where the staff is equally welcoming and the food is terrific.
Finally, I would like to draw attention to the staff at the Morton which were the most friendly welcoming hotel people I have ever met in my life. Special shout out to Erika who was like a friend, as I was traveling solo, But all of them were lovely and kind. This is a small London hotel at its finest.
A great location and reasonable price; spacious rooms and bathrooms!
Staff were impeccable, they were so friendly, when they heard about the issues we had the night before with another property the were really sympathetic. They were there it help in any way possible. They also checked throughout our stay.
I would stay again. It was just so welcoming. There was no kitchen but they do have tea and coffee in the room which is topped up daily. And l also liked the little beauty products they provided for you, it’s the little things that make your stay just that little bit nicer.
The bed was a little firm for our liking but not a big issue.
Excellent location, well-appointed and maintained rooms and public areas. Very clean and modern bathrooms. Pleasant staff.
Fantastic location overlooking Russell Square. Very close to public transit and lots of attractions. Lovely neighborhood. Fantastic and friendly staff. Rooms are clean and well taken care of. Bathroom are surprisingly spacious!
The rooms were comfortable and quiet, with lots of amenities— robes, irons, coffee machine, fridge. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Convenient central location.
Clean very nice & cool - amazing welcome would really loved to have given it a 10/10 but there was a mix up with communication about parking- no parking on site… however resolved quickly and very happy with how it was handled- have already booked to stay again in the next few weeks 👍
