A good place to stay in the heart of the city, if you were just passing through for the night.
Pros:

The room was clean and really nice, bed was super comfortable. The staff at breakfast were friendly and attentive. The hotel is really beautiful and luxe inside. Great location, walking distance to lots of restaurants and cafes, easy walk to the city shops too.

Cons:

We got the king room with city view. It was not a city view it was the view of other buildings walls couldn’t see the city view at all. It was disappointing because the drapes had to be shut because you could see inside the windows of which looked to be offices.
That was misleading. Buffet breakfast was underwhelming.

There was no view, we looked out at other buildings which were under construction , the lights were kept on 24 hours in the construction floors. We had to close the blinds which made the room dark and gloomy. I tried calling reception but there was no answer and no return call. The club lounge room was a small depressing room with very limited food and beverage options. We had cheese and crackers and a simple penne pasta. It was not 5 star. The service was terrible. I asked for a barista made coffee for breakfast which again was served in the club room, I was told to make my own coffee from the pod machines. I instead went upstairs to the restaurant which I thought we would eat at, and asked them. They obliged free of charge and said you should be able to order a real coffee from us through staff no problem. There was no table service, we had to pull together our own tables to make a space for my wife and daughter, no cutlery or saltand pepper it was all self service. That is not 5 star. For what we paid I was very disappointed. Will not return, would not recommend.

Good location, good value, rooms generous and quite nice so it’s a good option
Pros:

Location, rooms generously and clean, decor quite good and bathrooms quite good too. Good communal spaces

Cons:

Lack of water provided, pillows and the rooms are starting to feel a bit tired needs a refresh soon.

Grown up hotel in a great location.
Pros:

We've been coming here since it opened - great location, under used gym, cosy bar. Lovely staff.

Cons:

As returning guests - they always seem surprised.. do they not keep client records? Even with the change from Next to Hilton?
