Pros:

An extremely welcoming and sophisticated spot in the Rosebank area. The staff was very cheerful and attentive to my concerns about safety and well-being. Excellent restaurant in the lobby; very good breakfast.

Avoid top floor or room next to service lift on top floor
Pros:

Nicely furnished and laid out. Smells nice as soon as you get in. Great vibe and friendly/helpful staff.
Great restaurants, bars, and a coffee shop, and centrally located within the Rosebank precinct.
Quiet air conditioner.

Cons:

The room was next to the service lift. It made noise nonstop from early morning/dawn, and the water pipes (I assume) too. constantly made noise for almost the entire night. Very noisy and uncomfortable, and had to be awake early. Spoiled the whole experience.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Outstanding Service Turned Our Stay Around
Pros:

After a long day of flights and transfers, we arrived at the Hyde Rosebank Hotel only to discover that we had made an error with our booking. We were understandably tired, upset and frustrated.

Thankfully, Relo went above and beyond to assist us. Although the mistake was entirely ours, he quickly arranged a new room, upgraded us, and even provided a 10% discount voucher for dinner. His professionalism, kindness and genuine care completely turned our experience around, and we can’t thank him enough.

Our room was spacious, beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean, and offered lovely views over Johannesburg.

We chose to dine in the hotel restaurant that evening, and the meal exceeded our expectations. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and our waiter was attentive and friendly throughout the evening.

Breakfast the following morning was equally impressive, with an extensive selection of fresh fruit, juices, pastries, eggs cooked to order, pancakes, and plenty of other hot and cold options. There was something for everyone.

Our only disappointment was that we were staying for just one night. We would have loved to spend more time enjoying the hotel and exploring everything the Rosebank area has to offer.

A wonderful hotel made even more memorable by exceptional customer service. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Best Hotel near the Rosebank Gautrain station.
Pros:

Fantastic staff who will go above and beyond for you to be comfortable in your room. As a light sleeper , they moved my sister and I to a lovely quiet room, away from the elevators. The products in the bathroom were amazing. And it smelled great. Also, very impressive, a little handheld steamer for clothes. The breakfast at the Proud Mary was , as expected, very good. We also ate there the evening. The small plates can't be faulted. Overall, you can feel that the staff really enjoyed working at this hotel.

Cons:

I would like to have a shower cap and a little vanity kit in the bathroom. Luckily I travel with my own disposable shower caps. I probably should have asked and they'll provide me with one.

Great location, food and facilities were spot on
Pros:

It was modern and clean and in a safe area close to bars and restaurants.
Great sized room and had everything we needed. Love the speakeasy restaurant and breakfast was extremely good

Cons:

Some bar staff seemed a little frosty until we said we were staying at the hotel

A comfortable and chic stay.
Pros:

Spacious room. Separate toilet and shower. Having a Nespresso machine in the room, as well as a nice portable speaker which allowed me to enjoy my music while I got ready. The gym was also really nice with separate floors for cardio and weights. The location was quite central and a mall within a walking distance.

Nothing.

From the moment I drop my car off, and the warm welcome received from the drivers, to reception to restaurant, I am made to feel like a long lost friend. Everything is done to perfection and I am always made to feel special. The hand written notes the little surprises , it always makes me smile and look forward to my return 😊

Pros:

I love the aesthetic of this hotel. The rooms are well laid out and beautiful. The gym is incredibly impressive with many different rooms and machines. The breakfast was particularly good. Every member of staff was so welcoming and friendly.
