A useful transit stop and staff were very friendly and helpful.

The air conditioning system was right by my bed and made it very hard to go to sleep. Also not the easiest place to find on satnav.

Nice place to stop over for a break
Pros:

The room was nice with a comfortable King bed and a big T.V. with a nice closet with ironing board and iron. The bathroom had a stand up shower, no tub with body soap, shampoo and conditioner. The A/C worked well, especially at the start of August eith humidity. Breakfast I. The morning was a variety of hot food. Scrambled eggs, real bacon, Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches, bagels, English muffins. Hot oatmeal with make your own waffles. Plenty of syrup. Strawberry preserve spread, jellies, brown sugar and fixings. There was a juice dispenser and coffee and tea available. The hotel has 4 floors and an elevator. Outdoor pool, and indoor fitness area. Down by the reception area is a snack area with beverages and such to be purchased if hungry. There is also a mini fridge and coffee pot in the rooms. This was a nice place to stay for a one or 2 night occasion. The staff kept it clean, especially in the breakfast area. The ice machines were on each floor which was a plus. We had a quiet and peaceful sleep.

Cons:

One of the 2 elevators was out of order at the time. Minor renovations were being done on our 3rd floor, but it wasn't obstructive. Thermostat had to be be controlled by the wall not on the unit itself in the room. The bathroom does not have a vent, just make sure you bring spray deodorizer.

I would not recommend this hotel.
Pros:

The location to Prairie View A&M

Cons:

The photos pictured on the website did not match the actual look of the room. The room looked dark and old to be five years old. The carpet didn’t appear to have been vacuumed. The bathroom was dusty.
