Not the best value for money. Nor as close to the centre as we thought.
Pros:

The room was large enough especially for a one night stay. We were both glad to have not stayed another night which we had originally considered.

Cons:

No air conditioning. Thankfully the weather was cool. The Spa was advertised but actually under construction while we were there. Breakfast was actually rather poor. I tried to toast a roll because it was not very fresh and was loudly berated by one of the staff. Finally, this is also an old-persons home. This should be more clearly stated in the hotel description. Frankly neither of us minded but it did feel a bit devious as nowhere mentioned except in a few reviews I read after the fact. The hotel rooms clearly cater to the elderly as the bathrooms have been designed with their needs in mind down to the swivel bathroom mirror. I thoroughly enjoyed pulling a few coffees for a few charming old ladies at breakfast (one coffee machine for over a hundred places...) but this Evangelical Methodist institution should be a lot more upfront as to its true nature. I can live with paying a little more to help put a smile on a few older people's faces but at least say so, As it is it's not worth the amount we paid.

Hotel is apart dat klopt maar als je binnen loopt ruikje meteen de geur van een verpleeghuis
