Top hotel for calm people
Pros:

It is 5 stars hotel but without extra services like in a 5 stars (bringing luggages to the room, fast check-in...). Big room, very clean room. Everything in the details. Convenient parking. Amazing breakfast. All the ladies in the breakfast are very friendly and welcoming.

Cons:

You can not smoke anywhere in the Center Artos, Even 500 meters around the center, it is forbidden. If you take the risk to smoke under a tree, an old lady will ask you to leave in a not nice manner. The only smoking area is a small terrasse for workers, but not for tourists.

Cons:

בפינת הקפה יש מכונות שתיה וחטיפים עם מטבעות בלבד....מיושן בעולם של תשלומים דרך הטלפון.
מתחת לחדר שלנו בוצעו עבודות שגרמו להפרעת רעש וריח... אמנם, לאחר שהתלוננו קיבלנו חדר אחר, אבל זה גרם לנו בזבוז זמן.

Un séjour mémorable
Pros:

Les chambres sont grandes et spacieuses. Nous avons adoré le balcon et la vue. Une mention toute particulière pour la gentillesse du personnel.

Cons:

Le coin café n’est pas dans la chambre mais dans les espaces dédiés. Ce n’est pas un problème mais il faut le temps de l’adaptation

Good but with disappointments
Pros:

It’s a beautiful and well located place.

Cons:

I booked this property mainly because it offered a spa. Unfortunately, the spa was closed, and we were not informed prior to arrival. Although an alternative spa was suggested, it was located far from the property, and due to the cold, snowy weather, it was not a practical option. Had we known this in advance, we would have chosen another property. This was unexpected and disappointing.

Pros:

The breakfast was ok but no other 'public' spaces in hotel - perhaps I did not read the description close enough to see this myself - so no bar or simliar areas on offer.
The town has plenty of alternatives and the staff advised us of good restuarants nearby.

Cons:

There was some renovation/construction work going on during our visit.
Whilst they worked 'day-time' hours it did mean the room was not really ok to sit in during 9.00 to 16.00 at all as the drilling was very noisy. And some days we wanted some rest time in our room.

Preiswert, gute Lage und gutes Frühstück, Zimmertemperatur ist nicht individuell zu regeln.
Pros:

- Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und spricht auch noch Schweizerdeutsch im Gegensatz zu vielen Hotels, wo man mittlerweile bestenfalls auf Hochdeutsch oder sogar gleich auf Englisch angesprochen wird in der Deutschschweiz.

- Die Lage ist ruhig und trotzdem nahe zum Bahnhof Ost. Vom Westbahnhof direkt mit einer Postautolinie erschlossen.

- Das Frühstück bietet eine gute Auswahl und Qualität.

Cons:

- Bei einem gebuchten Doppelzimmer erwarte ich keinen störenden Spalt zwischen den Matratzen.

- Am meisten gestört hat, dass die Zimmertemperatur nicht individuell zu regeln war. Wird zentral gesteuert. Es war viel zu warm im Zimmer zum Schlafen (22 Grad laut aufgehängtem Thermometer), so dass man das Fenster öffnen musste. Das nennt man nach draussen heizen und ist ein ökologischer wie ökonomischer Blödsinn, zumal in einer Zeit, wo alle von Umweltschutz und Nachhaltigkeit sprechen.

Pros:

Sehr gutes Frühstück, schönes Ambiente - Hotel ist einem Altersheim angeschlossen, freundliches Personal, Parkplatz in der Tiefgarage für nur CHF 7.-/Tag, sauberes Zimmer.

Cons:

Leider hat das Bett gequitscht, das Wasser im WC ist dauerhaft leicht gelaufen (haben wir beim Check-out gemeldet) und in der Dusche hatte es einiges an Schimmel in den Fugen, diese müssten mal erneuert werden.
