Pros:

If I was on full or half board the limited selection would have troubled me. How breakfast did not include pineapple as a choice of fruit is amazing

Le manque de place à disposition face à la mer.
Gestion des places réservées et bloquées sans être utilisées.
Belle chambre, mais aménagement à corriger car le manque de rangement est insuffisant. Il n’y aucune étagère ce qui est détestable lorsque l’on souhaite défaire sa valise et de s’installer pour se sentir un peu comme chez soi. Nous nous sommes posé la question de comment ce manque était géré par des couples avec de jeunes enfants…

Disappointing Maintenance and Operational Standards Despite Excellent Staff
Pros:

I recently stayed at this resort and want to share an honest review based on my experience. The staff deserve credit first—they were consistently warm, friendly, and professional throughout my stay. My review is not about them, but about the condition of the room, the facilities, and some operational and hygiene-related issues that affected the overall experience.

Cons:

Room condition:
Several maintenance and cleanliness problems made the room feel below the standard I expected:
– A heavy layer of dust on the ceiling fan
– Dirt and dark marks on the bathroom door
– Mold around the ventilation unit
– Peeling paint in the restroom near the beach bar
– Worn and uneven wall surfaces
– Cloudy mirrors and a streaked glass table

These issues together suggested that the room had not been thoroughly inspected before my arrival.

Operational issues:
– Every morning, one staff member was assigned only to the coffee machine. This setup felt inefficient.
– The pool bar was clearly understaffed; one person handled everything and struggled during busy periods.
– The towel system was unclear. A more structured process would help avoid confusion.

Hygiene concerns:
– I noticed some kitchen staff wearing wristwatches while handling food. The skin under a watch becomes warm and moist, which can increase bacterial growth. For this reason, most food‑safety guidelines don’t allow wristwatches in kitchens.

Overall impression:
This resort has strong potential and a staff team that genuinely cares. However, the maintenance issues, hygiene observations, and operational gaps made the experience feel below the Pullman standard I expected.

I originally sent all of this feedback directly to the management by email, hoping to help improve the guest experience. Unfortunately, I did not receive any response, which is disappointing—especially given the nature of the feedback.

Wonderful family holiday, would definitely stay again!
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at the Pullman. At first I wasn't sure because we were given a room which we were unhappy with. It was very damp and needed clear renovation but upon requesting a different room it was given. We arrived very early and our room wasn't available till much later but the general manager offered us a free breakfast which was really lovely. Because of the rain the buildings generally had a damp smell. But I can see it's difficult to avoid unless there's air conditioning on constantly. We the pool, the facilities and everything was really good. The staff were always attentive and helpful.

Cons:

The damp smell especially in the children's activity room- maybe air con does need to be on all the time to mitigate the humidity.

When I arrived here, there was not enough parking space. We were really hungry so we decided to order room service. We ordered simple menu as spaghetti bolognese with extra cheese. When it came, there were no cheese at all. The food were bland and no salt and pepper. The chef here is probably sooo confident but we managed to finish it as we were starving. The room I had was a pool access with somebody’s underwear in the water (you can see the picture I attached here). It was there the first day I checked in until my last day. I thought they will come and clean the pool every morning, but… it’s still there and it’s disgusting. Maybe I expect too much but at least I try with this brand and it was so disappointing. I have asked them for the late check out just to see if they would do something but… they just no which I understand that the room is subjected to availability. Very disappointing here and I wont come back here as of 5 stars hotel again.

Pros:

We stayed at 10 nights the Pullman Khao Lak as a family with kids and had a wonderful experience. The room was spacious, the facilities were excellent, and the staff was truly amazing – always helpful and friendly. Highly recommended for families looking for both comfort and great service

Cons:

The only thing I would improve is more shuttles since the location of the hotel is a bit remote

Babysitters were really helpful and great with my daughter.

Location was not great. Too far from town and nothing there to walk around and look at
Very quiet even very limited activities to do at Ty resort, felt very isolated.

Wir fanden es top und hatten eine wunderbare Zeit!!
Pros:

Es ist so ein sehr gut durchdachtes und schönes Hotel. Es wird wenig Plastik im Zimmer verwendet und die Lichtschalter sind alle angeschrieben (genial!) ! Der Service ist 1A. Die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Auf alle Wünsche - auch unserer Kinder - wurde eingegangen. Das Interior ist wunderschön. Es gibt ein gutes Angebot für die Kinder in allen Alterskategorien mit ihrem Kids Club, Orte zum Spielen und Filmabenden. Es gibt nichts auszusetzen!

Cons:

- Es liegt preislich im oberen Bereich, aber das ist in der High Season zu erwarten.
- abgelegen, wenige Restaurants ausserhalb des Resorts in Gehdistanz.

Cons:

Super remote location, very limited options to spend time nearby without transportation. Facilities not well maintained. Very expensive to drink and dine inside - even compared to other 5* resorts in Khao lak, probably because of the lack of other options. All in all, it is a very “instagrammable” hotel, but the reality is more nuanced
