I was thankful for coffee options. I couldn’t eat the omelet I ordered as it had too many fillings and was too salty. The next day I ordered a scrambled egg but because it was cooked in a ring it totally changed the texture. Also it was way more expensive than going to a restaurant 2 blocks away.

Pros:

Stay at Even when I come to Mayo, it’s very comforting while I have the stress of medical issues.
Pros:

2 nights with no sleep
Cons:

Doctor recommended I sleep in a recliner second and third night. The first 2 workers I asked said no problem but were busy at the time - which was ok as we were going out for supper. I gladly offered to pay extra for that service. When we returned, no recliner, so when we came back down to desk - the clerk came from the other hotel came over and very rudely told us that was not allowed and we needed to book a room ahead of time with a recliner. If we had known that - we sure would have done that needless to say - I attempted to sleep sitting up in the desk chair as sitting up in bed did not work. I went in for a procedure the next morning without a good night sleep and had a very upset medical team.

My husband and I will choose the EVEN hotel every time we are in town because we know what to expect
Pros:

We always stay at the EVEN hotel when coming for appointments at Mayo Clinic. We love thr close proximity to the hospital and the option of using the shuttle service. I enjoy the fitness room being open 24hrs so I can get my early morning workout in. The breakfast is always tasty.

Cons:

Overall the staff is friendly enough, with the front desk welcoming me back each time. However, when calling the front desk from my room, it often seems like I am bothering them with my question. Also, the person running the kitchen is not very hospitable.
