Friday night stay
Pros:

Very quiet 20th floor corner room made for a relaxing stay.

Cons:

Staff did not ask if I needed to check in when approaching the front desk. I had to say I would like to check in. That was a bit odd.

Pros:

Loved how much control you have over thr light in the room. From blackout curtains to dimmer switches it was very easy to fine tune how bright you want the room to be.

Cons:

Room itself slightly small. Not a hotel room i would share with someone I qas just paired up with for a trip

The Rand hotel was not what I had expected and was mid tier to what was displayed in photos online. I was here on busine
Pros:

I liked where the property was located in proximity to restaurants and local coffee shops. Was here on business so this hotel property was close by.

Cons:

I didn’t like that I had called prior to my stay and was told that my request to be on the top floor and same level as my coworker was approved but upon check in they couldn’t fulfill my request and stated it was never noted.

Additionally, the staff was rude and not very friendly. Not very hospitable or open to communication. Stood for over 20 minutes and wanted to be seated in the dining room and instead was never helped so we took our business elsewhere.
