Great Seaview from hotel room
Very dated & run down needs a good renovation. Tea & coffee in room but needed more on our first day as very minimal supplies left. Shower & bathroom sink had issues draining water away & had to turn shower off half way thru to let water drain away & same for sink when cleaning teeth!
Rooms extremely hot even with windows ajar & no option to turn heating down.
Breakfast very limited options & didn’t keep supplies stocked up always having to ask for replenishment of hot & cold breakfast items.
, Room was okay but not like the pictures, room slightly cold but will warm up later, , and heater not working properly- was clean on arrival, but I needed to let reception know twice to clean up my room, shower is good, warm water, and nice location,
windows, curtains heavy and dark, room bit smelly but possible because of new carpet
Hotel was in a good location. Staff were pleasant on check in.
Room was filthy, stained carpet, what looked like tea splattered all over the bathroom door, decoration very shabby and dated. Corridors not cleaned, the same mess was on the floor for the full 4 days we were there. Room was very warm even with the window open all night
We booked 3 nights at this hotel but stayed only 2 as the bed was soft and had an old sagging mattress and there was a general smell of mould and damp. The hotel needs some a good revamp and some better mattresses.
Breakfast was good and staff friendly and informative.
Location
Everything else
It's a lovely hotel, staff lovely and polite , brilliant shower , bed was comfy
Room was a little run down , bit dirty but nothing major,
The location is perfect. We stayed in a room with sea view and could enjoy the sunset and sunrise. Very close to Coop and many takeaways and little shops in a quieter part of the promenade.
Breakfast simple but delicious and well prepared - try the blueberry muffins!
We were very lucky with the weather!
It is another old building going through refurbishment of some sort. Room wooden floor was very noisy. TV didn't work but we didn't stay in the room for very long.
Location was good as in close to the sea front and high street, street parking outside although you have to pay for that
Had to pay for parking, WiFi code didn’t work first 3 attempts, lift was cramped and terrifying, decor was dated and looks so run down, room was small, overpriced, you could hear everything from other rooms, floors creaky, bed uncomfortably, limited charging ports, smaller TV in the world, “sea front hotel” more like back alley views… just don’t do it to yourself
Great location overlooking the beach. Lovely staff who allowed us to book in early at no extra charge after travelling through the night from Ireland. Also added bonus was a full bar and pool table.
The shower could do with being upgraded.
On the front and near the Sea
Room was dated and work was going on in rooms and on landings
Great location and friendly staff
Bed was too hard and very dangerous to get into the bath for a shower
The lady who was seating guests for breakfast was very kind and accommodating, She couldn’t have done more
My partner and our dog stayed for just one night had some issue with sound travelling around the building, We went to reception to make the staff aware of the noise and in the end the manager did come down and do a room switch which was a lot quieter but baring in mind it was now around 00:50, Would have been nice for the staff to have checked back in with us in the morning to see if we had a quieter room after the switch but didn’t seem that concerned
Friendly and helpful staff
Good location
Lovely breakfast.
Good view from our room
Could not turn down the radiator as it didnt have a thermostat on it so the room was really hot all night.
Hot water from the shower didnt stay warm / hot whilst on.
Bathroom very dated, bath plug was rusty.
The main lighting did not work
Nice clean room the bed was comfy had a good night's sleep
Would of liked a buffet breakfast after paying £12 each but because not many people was in it was just plated
cozy
rude staff
